Michael was able to help me out, someone who has no experience with cats or kittens last minute when I found a box of abandoned kittens. I found his product knowledge extremely thorough for taking care of a set of young kittens that I otherwise would not have known how to navigate without his help. This is not the first time that he has helped me. And this deserves to be recognized.

I was at the jumping spiders looking at them and I’ve been in there a couple times before and I was gently picking up the containers to look at the spiders to see what color they are and how big they are, I’m not gonna buy them if I can’t see what they look like or see if they are even alive in there, and I don’t see the paper that said don’t pick up containers, and the employee said “can I help you” and I said oh no I’m good thank u, and he cut me off and said “because we don’t allow people to pick those up”, the way he phrased it and said it was very rude and treating me like a idiot, I wouldn’t be upset if he would have just said, “hey, sorry mama you aren’t allowed to pick those up”, I was gonna buy a jumping spider but after that I put it down and left, he had long black hair in a man bun and a beard and he looked looked to be latino or Indian, even my husband said he was being sarcastic with him, and also the sign they have above the spiders that say don’t pick up, is not noticeable at all it’s just a piece of Printer paper and it has a paragraph on it pretty much, I felt like I had to read for awhile to just see it said don’t pick them up, if they had a better sign and just in big letters in red don’t pick up spiders, short and simple and to the point, I bet a lot of people like me see a paragraph with small Font, they aren’t going to take the time to read it, especially if their excited about getting a new pet, they probably avoid reading it because they don’t feel like sitting there and reading all that, that’s honestly why I didn’t see it, also I just came from a reptile expo and they had jumping spiders and all kinds of insects and we are allowed to pick them up so we can see what color they are and if it’s what we even want, if I’m spending that much money and a spider that small i want to see what it looks like and if it’s even alive, I can’t do that if I can’t pick up the container, if petco are worried about them getting hurt they should have them up front or somewhere more supervised that way you can make sure little kids aren’t picking them up and hurting them, but can still see and watch people when then are looking at them, but no they have them all the way in the back of the store, and again I wouldn’t be so upset if it wasn’t for the rude employee, he did not have to go about it like that and make me feel stupid about it, it was a mistake I did see the awful sign, him saying “can I help you” and I thought he was being nice and trying to help me find something or see if I had any questions, and after I politely said “oh no, thank you tho” he immediately says “because we don’t allow people to hold those” it was very rude and disrespectful and sarcastic, it upset me so much I walked out and left my husband inside and told him I couldn’t be in there any longer and for him to buy the cat food and meet me outside, and my husband agrees he should of just told me off the bat that we are not allowed to hold them instead of drawing it out and making me feel stupid about it and embarrassing me on purpose, me and my husband agreed that we are just gonna go to petsmart form now on, they have better costumer service, I don’t want to spend my money somewhere they don’t make u feel welcomed, who would?
