- WWWhitneyMay 15, 20265.0I have had a ton of pets during my life so tons of vets. This was the best experience I’ve ever had even though my news was awful for my cat. My cat suddenly declined and my usual vet couldn’t see us, the urgentvet quoted us $1500 for blood work and then told us they didn’t have the staff to see us (we showed up the minute they opened) and charged us $135 just to tell us that. Someone told us to call Prestige. They did not hesitate to accept us even though they closed within the next 2 hours. Everyone from the front desk, to the tech, to the vet were all so genuine. Not just to our cat but to us too. We ended up having to put my cat down which was the worst news, but they spent so much time and effort into figuring out what was wrong with her. He even stayed late to further test her blood sample to make sure it was accurate and to euthanize. Everything was also extremely affordable compared to everywhere else around here that we’ve tried. We did not feel like another number to the doctor. He was extremely kind and efficient. We will definitely make this our main vet for our other pets from now on. Thank you guys.

Our lead veterinarian, Dr. Oliver Engle, has worked in the field since 2000, giving him over 24 years of experience in providing high-quality veterinary care. Dr. Engle also has over 12 years of experience, specifically in emergency and urgent care veterinary medicine. He has previously served as a medical director at several hospitals.
What types of veterinary services do you offer?
We offer spay/neuter surgeries, animal vaccines, and specialty surgeries for dogs and cats. Dr. Engle is also experienced in advanced soft tissue surgery, preventive medicine, wellness checks, internal medicine, dermatology, pet dentistry, ophthalmology, and diagnostic imaging.
What is your pricing structure?
We believe in fair and affordable pricing. General pricing information is available over the phone, and we provide written estimates during appointments to ensure transparent pricing.
Do you offer urgent pet care services?
Yes, we offer urgent veterinary care during business hours. If your pet is sick, you can bring them in right away for immediate attention anytime we are open. We utilize a triage system to prioritize the order in which sick patients are seen. We believe in a "come in now" philosophy for urgent situations.
Can you provide boarding or daycare for flexible drop-offs and pick-ups?
Our clinic is located alongside an excellent boarding and daycare facility. This allows us to offer drop-off wellness exams, where your pet can play at the daycare before and after their appointment, providing added convenience for pet owners.

We maintain an open dialogue with each owner about their pet's needs directly with the doctor. Written estimates are provided to owners and discussed on a case-by-case basis. This approach ensures we provide the necessary services while staying within your budget.
What professional affiliations do you have?
Dr. Engle is a member of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) and the Capital Area Medical Veterinary Association. He also collaborates with many specialty animal hospitals in the Austin area.
Do you have any specialized training?
Dr. Engle has advanced post-doctoral training as an emergency vet and is highly experienced in emergency and urgent care veterinary services. Our clinic is also skilled in advanced soft tissue surgery and other specialized procedures. Dr. Engle also completed a post-doctoral internship at a specialty referral hospital. Overseen by Dr. Engle and Debbie, his spouse. His children are involved in both the sister boarding facility and the clinic.
