I highly completely DO NOT recommend Dr Ely. I have never had an experience like this with a Banfield and while most are not the greatest their plans have services that are hard to find elsewhere. The other staff was wonderful. It was only this doctor. Dr Ely. From the moment I checked in, it felt his goal was to make as much money off of me as possible. Not only was the urinalysis test included in my plan, he wanted to try and get me to spend money to send the test out. When I said multiple times I wasn’t super worried. I thought okay they are just being through. No. Then I’m told they want to give my cat antibiotics just in case before they’ve even tried to grab urine from my cat. My cat is completely normal and only peed outside the litter box twice. Acting completely normal but you want to start antibiotics just in case before any results? That’s not how antibiotics work. So then I realized this was a money grab doctor. After the examine he comes in talking about heart worm prevention. Which I believe in but everything is expensive these days and their plans have gone up so we do what we can. He tries to scare me with “it only takes one. We can take care of that for you today” another money grab. He comes at me with more. His teeth are bad so I’m not sure what your plans are for that. Oh that’s odd considering he was just in for a dental 3 months ago and that doctor told me his teeth were good after the dental. Another money grab. If you want a doctor that cares about you and your pets I 100% do NOT recommend going anywhere near Dr Ely. He’s just in this for the money. And should he ashamed. Never ever touch my pets again.

Dr. Wang and the team on staff yesterday gave me my cat back. They listened to me, they worked with my budget, and they gave me comprehensive advice for my cats behavioral issues that already within a day have helped improve her overall demeanor. I am typically cautious of chain practices like Banfield due to the corporate oversight but I can say with confidence this location has what’s best for you and your babies at heart.

2am, my cat was sick. Their site allowed me to book an appt for the next day. Whew! Took me longer than I thought to get her ready, so I was a bit late, but they worked me in. Whew! They gave me options and pricing for her testing before administering. They were very thorough in explaining to me what the conditions were. I feel that they really cared about my cat and my wallet. I would definitely recommend. Thank you Bandfield.
