Bear was very clingy with my hubby & I. He was and still is possessive of us & doesn’t like strangers (strangers to him) get near either of us the resort has had several trainers work with Bear to help change his negative behaviors of barking excessively, snarling & biting attempts. Bear had also attempted or bitten my hubby & I when we tried to take things away from him that he wasn’t suppose to be chewing on ie caps from water bottles or bread tied that I’d accidentally dropped & his favorite but nastiest behavior was to open the lidded trash can & get out the used Kleenex and shred it as well as eat it. It has been a long time working with him as we had to get him where he would trust the trainers in order for the trainers to touch him ie to pet him for praise rot . He bonded with them enough that we felt comfortable to go on vacation & have him stay at the resort for 6 days & nights. Now when I take him in for his training session he runs to the door jumps on it like he ladies I’m here, let me in, did you miss me?? Today one of his trainers visited him at our house he still had not gotten to close with her however when she arrived he acted like his old onry self barking at her until he realized who she was. She sat in the recliner & he was coaxed to get up in the ottoman in front of her then she was able to pet him & scratch his head behind his ears etc He was eating it up & she was amazed at the difference in him as it had been about 10 days since he saw her. Eventually during her visit he was putting his paw out wanting her to let him sit in her lap. We have decided to try him with some basic training of sit come, and others she was telling us about. This has been such a gift to us as we were to the point with his attitude & biting we weren’t sure if we should hold onto him as we were afraid of someone & in specific a child could get hurt!I Kudo’s to the Women & men at the resort who helped work with Bear if you ever questioned it you did make a difference in his new attitude! Thanks to all at the resort!! Looking forward to seeing you next week!!

We boarded our boy in The Haven and he had the time of his life! 🫶🏼 We are so so thankful for this wonderful place! Great price. Great service. We felt extremely at ease while away!

I've been taking my big baby here for a few months. She's got some anxiety and can be apprehensive of other dogs, but they have been absolutely wonderful working with her. They give me an honest update each time I pick her up, and the photos they post everyday are not only adorable, but give me peace of mind being able to see how she's doing in the moment. I never thought daycare or boarding would be an option for my girl, I'm so happy to have found a place like Circle Star. I recommend them to everyone I know!

Circle Star is the only place I'll ever take my dog. They have the best staff, and my dog absolutely loves going there!

Very nice people that seem to care for the animals they are boarding. Facilities are nice & the area is beautiful. I have no doubt that my cats were cared for.
