I pay for a Petco membership, and when it wasn’t showing up, the cashier immediately told me it wasn’t in the system instead of trying to figure out what was wrong. Then the employee at the register next to her jumped in just to tell me to contact Petco support. That was the only “solution” they offered. I’ve used this membership multiple times before, so I know it exists. Neither employee made any effort to troubleshoot the issue, look up my account another way, or get a manager to help. They acted like it wasn’t their problem and just wanted to send me away. I pay for this membership and expected customer service, not to be brushed off. It was a complete waste of my time, and the lack of effort from both employees was extremely disappointing. I expected much better from Petco.
