  I don’t normally write reviews but I felt the need to warn people about this facility especially when it comes to the wellbeing of their pets. We’ve had nothing but horrible experiences at Banfield Mesquite. We brought our senior Pomeranian here because she was having trouble breathing and were told that she had a collapsed trachea and was just overweight. After a round of steroids, they said the only thing they could do is see her regularly to renew her steroid prescription. When her condition worsened, we took her to a different vet who said she had breathing problems due to a heart condition so severe that she required a 3 day ER stay. They said they had no idea how Banfield missed this in their diagnosis. We took our Husky here for a wellness exam because he needed vaccines, heartworm/flea/tick prevention, and his nails clipped. They kept him for almost the whole day and did nothing but give him 1 rabies vaccine and clipped 3 nails. On our most recent visit, we tried to get our barn cat spayed. After holding her for a whole day, we received a call from Banfield asking us what our cat was there for. At this point, we were so unsatisfied with their lack of care that we just told them we would pick her up. They proceeded to try to recommend OTHER PLACES for us to spay our cat instead of trying to reschedule or salvage the terrible experience. They charged us a wellness exam fee and the exam paperwork didn’t even have her weight on there which led me to believe that they didn’t do anything but keep our cat caged all day. If you care about your pets, please DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!! We are willing to pay whatever for our animals to receive the care they need but it is clear that no amount of money will make Banfield Mesquite care about their quality of work. We will NEVER return to this location and have warned several other pet owners to STAY AWAY. The sad thing is, most people we have talked to have also had similarly poor experiences at this facility.

  Booked appointment online last night, they called & let me know no booking for that time available around 9am. That no one would be there to see my pet. What's the point of online booking? Online system is trash. I rushed to book at the other in mesquite & go all the way up there to be told the same. Never will book with yall again.

  This is a great place open 7 days a week, multiple doctors, they do surgeries. Doctors have been wonderful. At the rear of petsmart next to grooming. Highly recommend
