Banfield in McKinney is the only place I have/will ever take my precious frenchie. Dr Knisley is so knowledgeable and very attentive to Jewels. He is the best veterinarian I’ve ever known. I trust him wholeheartedly. Thank you Dr Knisley and team. 🐶

I am extremely disappointed with the service and customer service received here at the McKinney location. They are just trying to get over. I brought in my pet in December 2025 and provided a free exam voucher at the time. However, come to find out now in Feb 2026 when trying to get a prescription refill that because I declined the prescription shot on site the physician and office staff LIED in their report and said I declined all services. When I spoke with the office manager today Feb 5 2026 he was just short, didn’t care and telling me no nothing happen. The physician had my pet behind the counter for over 30 min while I waited in the store. If the doctor didn’t do an exam, what were you all doing with my pet for over 30min behind the counter, why did the receptionist say everything looked good and recommend two medications following the exam, why did she write a prescription for a medication they can only administer if she never saw the dog. Why isn’t there any record of what actually took place?

I brought my senior cat in for her six month Comprehensive exam today as part of her wellness plan. Unfortunately, during her visit, we discovered that her heart disease had advanced to the point where there's nothing that could be done. Every single staff member at this location had so much compassion, respect, and genuine caring for me and my family. They recommended a treatment plan, but then when they discovered how large her mass had grown, and that nothing could be done, they stopped and did not do the extra unnecessary test so that I was not out any additional money. I highly recommend this Banfield location. Truly amazing care.

As I type this I am extremely upset. I took my dog in for a check up and a dental exam yesterday. My dog is elderly (I have had him for 16years) and I trusted Benny's care with them. They have been good to my pets in the past. Today when I came home I called for my dog and he didnt come. I thought he died naturally in his sleep but upon close examination I saw blood had come out of his nose. I think they were too rough with when they administered his anesthesia and I think Benny would still be alive if I hadn't taken him in. I normally don't do bad surveys (I only did good surveys until now) but I am so very heart broken and sad right now. And angry. If for some reason I am incorrect I will delete this post. 22MAY2025 this is the response to Banfield.....I went to Banfield the next morning to try to talk about what happened to yall and you guys literally didnt want to hear me out. You guys were amazingly uncompassionate- disinterested with me. I have noting to more to say to yall and there is nothing you can tell me that I want to hear. I have to recommend to all who read this not to bring your pet here, especially if your pet is elderly.

Customer service is a thing of the past at this location since the beginning of 2024. Not sure what happened here.
