I’m just waiting until I finish the package I bought, and then I’m never going back. 😂 Everyone is super sweet in person, but this is just too much. Every time I call, it’s the same thing. I’m literally just calling to schedule an appointment or make a payment, and that’s it! And I have to wait 10–20 minutes on the phone every time? And no one speaks Spanish
- CACarissa AJul 30, 20261.0This is the worst Banfield location. Yall need to take notes from the San Marcos and Austin locations. Seriously. Their offices are way more in demand and much more accommodating. My senior pup is on a Wellness Plan with Banfield and we recently moved to the RGV. She needed a visit to the vet since she got bit by something and we called asking if she can be seen. They mentioned they could see her before lunch. Great- thanks for the help. Upon arrival Bree upfront mentions she was looking at my pups records and according to her (*didn’t know she was qualified for such advice, but okay) it would be in my best interest not to be seen today given the fact my dog could have a seizure, and given that the doctor doesn’t know my dog (as if he knows every single dog that walks in here personally without pulling up records, can you not read?? Bree literally has access to the records??! Helloo?????? 🤣) so after wasting our time we are left without any help. Also I was initially calling to ask if we can get an appointment today, tomorrow, next available ASAP. According to Bree they only have one Vet, are scheduled out weeks in advanced, and closed multiple days. Oh okay. Thanks for checking I guess? A joke of a place. Just close this location too. Yall are disappointing.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
