- JAJoy AltamiranoSep 24, 20261.0We have been bringing our pet cat for years for comprehensive exam and for the 1st time this happened nothing was done claiming my cat was aggressive, same situation as my other cat tiger . I don't believe they have the proper training for thier staff to deal with this situation. I am going to discontinue my plan ,very dissatisfied with the service.
- BHbailey hustonSep 10, 20265.0The male vet was awesome! Super caring for our animal and the ladies who were also helping were so kind. Aside from the young woman at the front desk being rude, it was a great experience! The manager of clinic stepped in and immediately corrected the situation. Would definitely return! Thank you!
- JMJaime ManchaAug 25, 20261.0After 4 pm. You KNOW people are getting out of work and coming to get their pets: WHY is there only ONE girl working the desk?! I’m here to pick up my doggie’s remains. My pet’s euthanasia was faster than this!
- JSJef StAug 21, 20261.0The service here suxs.
- AVAndrea VillarrealAug 20, 20261.0They put me on hold every single time I call! I’m just waiting until I finish the package I bought, and then I’m never going back. 😂 Everyone is super sweet in person, but this is just too much. Every time I call, it’s the same thing. I’m literally just calling to schedule an appointment or make a payment, and that’s it! And I have to wait 10–20 minutes on the phone every time? And no one speaks Spanish
Frequently Asked Questions About Banfield Pet Hospital

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
