  Good location, smells from the animals, and the staff didn't seem to be too helpful on our visit. Our order wasn't ready when they said it was ready for pickup.

  So i love petco as a company. Great prices normally great employees. Now I do understand i came in late. The store had 10 mins before it closed. There's were 3 employees on the floor. 2 of which would not help me. I understood that the one of the animal poeple were busy with other customers. But tell me petco why would you hire 2 employees who are afraid of the animals you sell? So instead of being able to help me they stood around and watched the other employee handle not 1 not 2 but 4 other customers. Just ridiculous. Please petco do better. I normally go to a different pet store here in longview anyway but chose this petco because my normal store was closed already. I could not get to a pet store sooner due to work. Im not asking you fire these 2 employees or even hire other employees l, I just simply ask that your employees try to be more helpful with all the work and not just 1 certain thing.

  This petco is all nice, there’s everything you need for your pets! But the workers don’t do their job in the fish area. A fish came out the tank and they didn’t want to pick the fish up and I had to physically pick up the fish and put it in the tank. And there wasn’t AC and very poor fish care.

  Way to pricey. I love my pet but I do not want to have to take out a second morgage to pay for a bone. Very small bone in the front of the store with knots on each end. OVER $6.00 That bone was smaller than my hand. IT is absolutly rediculous. I can get that same bone in a bag at the feed store for less than one at Petco.

  EDIT: after reading other reviews, seems like this has BEEN an issue. I guess I’m going to pet smart from now on. Went here a few days ago to purchase cat treats, and a gentleman with black hair and glasses checked me out at the cash register. I don’t know if he was having a bad day or what, but he was so rude to the point I cringe at the thought of coming back to this location. He wouldn’t look at us what so ever, and sounded like we were inconveniencing him. He barely spoke, even when we greeted him, which was NOT reciprocated. We had asked a question about one of the items we bought and he completely ignored us. He then proceeded to get frustrated with us because he gave us instructions for the card reader that we genuinely could not understand, which if he had spoken more than a few words, we would have. It nearly felt like he was trying to make us not want to come back purposely, just so customers don’t inconvenience him during his shift. Unfortunately, only petco sells the treats I got, and this is the only one in Longview. I really do not want to have the unfortunate experience of crossing paths with this individual again. I shouldn’t have to feel like a child that’s being scolded by a teacher when I’m just trying to buy cat treats
