  The techs and vets at the Little emElm Banfield are so great! They are kind, gentle and fast. This is my favorite pet hospital. We have been coming here for years. Thank you for taking care of our boys

  Dr. Braha truly goes above and beyond when it comes to care, attention to detail, and compassion. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and is incredibly thorough and thoughtful in his approach to my cat’s health. I really appreciate his dedication and the care he provides. I also want to recognize the girls at the front desk, who are always so kind, attentive, and helpful. The entire team makes a difference, and I’m grateful to have found a veterinary office that genuinely cares!

  For reference, my cat has been on a Banfield plan since she was born 15 years ago and haven’t had an issue until today. If I could give this clinic and vet 0 stars I would. Today I brought my cat KC To the Banfield in Little Elm, Texas And in the past, they have told me to give her gabapentin beforehand only on certain appointments, but not others. They did not indicate that my cat would need it today nor did they provide a prescription of gabapentin before I brought her in for her six month checkup. She is 15 years old And on the way to do a drop off this morning, she was nervous and proceeded to vomit in her crate and also poop. I advised them at the time of drop off that that was the situation and they said “okay, no worries!” And I left. At 11:30 I get a call from Dr. Braha Stating that Because she was worked up, they could not do any testing today and he brought up the gabapentin and advised that he would be providing some to me and I would need to bring my cat back after arranging my entire day around this vet appointment for another appointment meant to accomplish the same things I brought her in for today. He also asked if I had concerns, which I had communicated to the front desk already that morning. I advised AGAIN that she has been vomiting constantly and he asked “how long has this been happening?” And I told him “since before her last vet appointment, where I brought this up to a different vet then and is noted in her chart.” He didn’t even bother to look at her chart before calling! He then stated that she would be ready anytime after one or 130. Since they could not complete the appointment, I am confused why they kept her there. Regardless, I returned in the afternoon to pick her up. They gave me the gabapentin and we talked about my cat not being happy being there. They gave Me her gabapentin and then went back to get her. When they brought her out, they advised that they could not take her out of her crate because she was so worked up, so my cat sat in her own vomit and poop all day and this was not communicate communicated to me on the phone when the vet called me. Additionally, she had no access to food or water or a litter box. They offered a puppy pad as a resolution after I got there, however I now have her excrement all over the seat Since she did not have Access to a litter box and she had been peeing ALL DAY in her crate. I am very upset that that’s how they would treat an animal and that they wouldn’t even communicate to me when they called that they hadn’t taken her out of the crate. I understand some of it is for protection of the staff because they don’t want to get bit, but to not communicate to me that my cat is suffering, sitting in her now vomit, poop, and pee for several hours, and they kept her there after doing nothing to her. Which again, she is also elderly and super stressed at the vet, which could have caused a myriad of complications, number one would be irreversible damage to the kidneys. I am canceling both my cats Banfield plan and my dogs. Additionally, I have written a formal complaint to the Banfield corporate, and a complaint to the Texas veterinary board, as this was absolute neglect of an elderly pet and they were lucky because in the past she’s had stress seizures and she could’ve died and I’m positive they wouldn’t have noticed until it was too late. Please do not risk your pets health by bringing them here.
