Absolutely terrible experience with Banfield. Their preventive care plan is misleading, and they do a horrible job explaining how it actually works. When I signed up, nobody clearly told me that canceling the plan could leave me owing a remaining balance for services that had been discounted under the membership. They market it like a simple monthly payment plan, but the fine print comes back to bite you if you decide to cancel. Finding out afterward that I still owed money felt deceptive and completely unfair. Customers should not have to discover these important details only after trying to end their subscription. If Banfield wants to keep customers' trust, they need to be upfront and transparent about the financial obligations tied to these plans. Pet owners deserve clear explanations before signing anything—not surprises and unexpected bills later. I would strongly encourage anyone considering their preventive care program to read every detail and ask a lot of questions before enrolling.
