This review is specifically for the Round Rock location of Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital.
When Beau’s soft tissue sarcoma returned aggressively and required a leg amputation, I was heartbroken and extremely anxious. Sammy, Dr. Matthew O’Donnell, and the entire Round Rock team treated Beau and me with incredible kindness and compassion. They explained everything clearly, answered my questions honestly, and helped me through an overwhelmingly sad and stressful situation.
Knowing Beau’s surgery was being performed by a board-certified veterinary specialist and that the hospital provided around-the-clock care, emergency resources, and overnight monitoring for gave me the reassurance I desperately needed.
Another facility offered a much lower price, but it did not have blood products available or overnight hospital care. Looking back, I truly believe choosing CTVSEH Round Rock saved Beau’s life. He received the specialized care and close monitoring he needed, and he is now home and recovering.
I will always be grateful to Sammy, Dr. O’Donnell, and the entire Round Rock hospital team for taking such wonderful care of Beau. I only wish I had found them sooner. I highly recommend this hospital to any pet parent facing a serious or emergency situation.

We were in and out with our sweet girl! The staff were so kind and the facility was very clean. We’d especially like to thank our vet Dylan Lucich and Ms. Tatiana whom were both so so kind and patient.

She had clear liquid coming out of her very little but still should have been looked at!!!! My husband mentioned a c section and that was ignored!!! I did not have an appointment with the vet veterinarian later that’s a lie that’s not true!!!!! I went to you guys on a Saturday and she had an appointment on a Monday. Obviously I couldn’t wait till Monday That’s why I went to you guys duh!!!!!!!! I did have a plan, but then it got changed and I went to you guys!!!!! Now I have a lot of nice lovely bills!!!!!!! I let the primary vet know what happened and they are in shocking and disbelief on what happened!!!!!! a clinic that saved pom-pom’s life and that tried to save the puppy I told them what happened as well and they are in shock!!!!!!!!

Disappointing experience. Horrible service from the tech Tatiana. Felt like a money grab. The first time we brought our dog here the staff was absolutely wonderful. Very kind and sweet to our dog. We brought my dog in due to a laceration on his leg this time around because of our first experience. I had told the clinic that our dog can be very anxious with people he does not know and just needed some time to warm up with some treats. The tech Tatiana did not interact with our dog at all and did not provide any information on next steps to care. It felt like pulling teeth to understand our treatment options and next steps. We had to explicitly ask multiple clarifying questions to understand what was happening. The tech then said she needed to take our dog back for vitals. I again vocalized my concerns and informed her that with some treats and interaction we could put a muzzle on him and he would be more willing to go back with her. Tatiana was not very helpful and we started feeling pretty uncertain to the kind of care our dog would be receiving. We ended up leaving and the clinic charged us $55 for a tech fee when the tech barely glanced at the laceration on his leg. Would not recommend.

We want to Thank every Member of the Veterinary Team that served us and Koda! Each Doctor and Technician was phenomenal!! As hard as this was they lovingly handled Koda and made sure we knew and understood each and every step they took. Even though it wasn’t the outcome that we were all working towards. They were phenomenal throughout the whole process! I really hope they see this and know how much we appreciate each one of them!! Thank You!!
