My experience with Dr. Padron and Technician Erin was great! Even though I got bad news about my dog. They were both very helpful, and I felt like they were each as good as those professions can produce.

Dr. Padron was the primary doctor for my dogs Churro and Mia. The staff are super caring for me and my pets and needs, i appreciate it deeply. I’ve only had the best experiences since i’ve been using this vet.

I decided to give Vetco in League City a second chance yesterday by bringing one of my puppies in for a wellness exam after previously having a very disappointing experience with another veterinarian at this location. Unfortunately, this visit only reinforced my concerns. During my first experience here, the veterinarian was cold, unwelcoming, and diagnosed one of my puppies with stenotic nares. That diagnosis did not make sense, because the puppy was not born with stenotic nares — she was experiencing temporary pinched nostrils related to teething and developmental swelling, which has since fully resolved exactly as expected. Her nostrils are now wide open and normal. Yesterday, with a different veterinarian, I was told my puppy had an umbilical hernia. That alone was not concerning to me, because small reducible umbilical hernias are not uncommon in the breed. However, what was concerning was discovering after I got home and reviewed the paperwork that the veterinarian documented it as a non-reducible umbilical hernia. This was never communicated to me in the office. After reading the report, I immediately placed my puppy on her back, gently pressed on the hernia, and it reduced easily with no issue at all. That directly contradicts what was documented in the exam notes. At this point, I genuinely do not know what is going on with this location specifically, but two separate veterinarians have now made diagnoses on my puppies that were either inaccurate or highly questionable. As a breeder who works very closely with my dogs and monitors them carefully, this is extremely concerning. I believe communication, accuracy, and professionalism matter tremendously in veterinary medicine, and unfortunately I have not experienced that consistently at this location.
