staff was friendly, Dr Bruster was ok, she could use better bedside manner. An aire of arrogance was extended after I requested our puppy be examined in the actual exam room rather than in the back with just the vet. She was still taken to the back for shots, hopefully she got them. I've never experienced a pet exam not completed in the exam room. We will use a regular vet for future appointments and use Petco for supplies.

Dr. Madeline Brister was one of the most rude, passive-aggressive, and dismissive vets I’ve ever dealt with.
My one-year-old golden retriever is not neutered yet, and both Dr. Brister and the vet tech repeatedly pushed the issue. When I mentioned studies linking early neutering in goldens to increased health risks, her response was an incredibly condescending “Yeahhh, I’m just going to say OK to that…” instead of having an actual discussion. Other vets have told me waiting until around 2 years old is completely reasonable. Especially because he hasn't shown aggressive behaviors.
Throughout the visit, she constantly responded with dismissive “yeahh” and “okayyy” comments anytime I brought up concerns about my dog or his behavior, as if I didn’t know my own dog.
She also aggressively questioned whether we had given flea prevention, even after I showed proof of the delivery email. Then she still said she’d call the clinic to “verify it.” It felt like she assumed I was lying for no reason.
On top of that, we arrived early and still waited nearly 2 hours to be seen. The vet tech said the doctor was in the restroom the whole time we were waiting...really she was probably just super late to the shift. They were also actively turning away other clients because they were so backed up.
For that kind of wait and attitude, the $86 visit fee felt ridiculous — especially when the only recommendation was a ~$200 allergy shot that “might work” without any real testing being done.
Overall, I’d avoid this clinic if you value professionalism, communication, and your time. Avoid Dr. Madeline Brister at all cost!

I had a terrible experience at Vetco on Grand Parkway in Katy.
I waited nearly two hours and was never seen. The staff was disorganized, and communication was very poor. We were repeatedly told the wait would be a little longer, only to continue sitting there with no clear updates.
After almost two hours, they told us it would be even longer, so we left without receiving any service.
I understand that delays happen, but the lack of organization and communication was unacceptable. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

I loved it here!! Total difference from my last vet, honestly like a breath of fresh air. I will be returning and I will also be switching my cat over to this location. They don't beat around the bush or say we have to do a million tests and charge you crazy prices to give you solid advice on proper what steps to take! They also engaged with my fur baby, my last vet didn't actually engage with my animal to make them feel safe. His demeanor was a total difference, the last vet told me he was too quiet well maybe if you didn't sit him on this uncomfortable metal table he might engage with you lol, he's a Great Pyrenees mix they are not small puppies. He was loving and had he tail wagging with the veterinarian, she was very nice and informative and so was he assistant David. Such wonderful staff from beginning to end!

I really wanted to like this place, I got recommended them by a friend. I’ll shorten my review by just listing off everything I disliked.
1. I could hear the vet tech making fun of my cats name because she “didn’t know what it was” outside the room even though he’s named after a common pastry?
2. The vet stated she had “never seen anything like this before” to my ragdoll cats smile moles.
3. They wanted me to redo my cats vaccines that he already had even thought i had the record because they weren’t done with them. They said they “couldn’t trust his other vaccines were done right”, so they wanted me to pay for a whole nother round.
4. They asked me 5 separate times if he was neutered even though I confirmed and had it in the chart that he was.
5. They called my cat a she the whole time.
6. Both the vet and the vet tech never greeted my cat as their patient or did anything to make him feel safe, they just walked in and talked to me.
This was a terrible first experience for me as a first time cat owner and for my kitten as a first vet visit. Hopefully they were all having an off day, but I cannot recommend anyone come here.
