  Horrible customer service. The cashier got upset because I paid with the only $100 bill I had at that moment. This is a great opportunity for Giovanni to learn some customer service.

  The store doesn't have as many options as it used to. But we take our dog here for training and have learned a lot.

  Petco is my favorite store to shop for my boys! They love the good quality food we give them such as Acana, Merrick and Orijens.

  The front desk employee told us they had our cats prescription food in stock over the phone. We drove 20 min to go get it and found they did not have it. Then she told us another store would have it, so we drove 15 minutes further and found out the other location of Mason didn't even carry prescription food. A huge waste of our time. We will not be going back.

  4 or 5 months ago, I booked a grooming appointment online for my dog at the Petco on Mason Road. The website showed the price, date, and time clearly. When I arrived at the store, I was suddenly told there would be an extra $10 “service fee” that was never disclosed online during booking. I asked why this fee was not shown online, and the employee just kept repeating “service fee” without any explanation. The manager got involved and even asked the employee whether the charge was visible online on my end. When she admitted it was not, the manager told her to waive the fee this one time since it was never disclosed to me beforehand. What shocked me was the employee openly refusing the manager’s instruction and arguing that “all customers pay it, so he needs to pay it too.” After a long and uncomfortable back-and-forth, she finally agreed to remove it, but she was visibly angry and rude the entire time. At that point, I honestly no longer felt comfortable or safe leaving my dog there for grooming, so I walked away. I called customer service the same day to report the incident and then moved on. I continued receiving Petco promotions and emails, and I figured maybe this was just one bad employee and not a reflection of the whole company. Recently, after receiving another grooming promotion email, I tried booking online again. The system blocked me and displayed a message saying I could not book online based on my “previous history” and that I needed to call the store. I called this morning and was told they had “preferred me out” and would no longer accept my dog at that location. So now I’m apparently banned because I questioned a charge that was never disclosed online in the first place? Very disappointing customer service and extremely unprofessional handling of a loyal c
