- ATAniah TriceJul 3, 20261.0I never got around to sharing this experience because I was focused on treating my Frenchie’s severe skin condition. About a year ago, this vet prescribed a medication I had never heard of. After nearly a month of using it, her skin became worse, so I sought a second opinion. The next veterinarian was very concerned and told me the medication had not been prescribed to animals since 2013 and was no longer being made. I was instructed to stop using it immediately and start a new treatment plan. After a few months of medicated baths and diet management, all of her fur grew back and has remained healthy. I wanted to share this because it seems very unusual for a veterinarian to prescribe a medication that had not been prescribed to animals since 2013. Maybe this was a one-time mistake, but I would strongly recommend researching any medication prescribed here and seeking a second opinion if something doesn’t seem right.

He is very knowledgeable and usually half the cost from most vets. His staff is very attentive and they are not pushy when recommending treatments and services.
