  My daughter absolutely had to go see all the cars for adoption as they were having an event. Nice, well lit store super helpful employees overall 10 of 10 location.

  The store had an amazing Halloween section. It kept us busy for a good while. The staff all greeted us as we walked around inside. The person at the register was veery helpful and informative.

  The store looked and felt like a very happy place to shop. The Halloween inventory was huge and a great selection. It brought us into the store and kept up in that spot to look at everything. Then we saw the cats….there was movement throughout the store and it guided you to the next section. Very well set up. And the lady that was at the register was helpful and informative. She told us to come back in about 2 weeks and the Halloween section will be even better.

  Karen was very helpful. Took the time to listen to me about the issues I was having with our dog. She gave her honest opinion, even though it may not work, that's all I wanted is for someone to give me their honest opinion because the vet could not help. Just medication and shampoos and that wasn't working. Thanks Karen for all your help.

  I was extremely disappointed by my recent experience with Petco Grooming. I was informed by employees that, under a new corporate policy, if a dog cannot keep its mouth closed while breathing, grooming services will be refused. If that is truly the policy, it seems unreasonable. Many healthy dogs naturally pant during grooming because of excitement, stress, or simply their breed. Bulldogs, German Shepherds, and many other breeds commonly breathe with their mouths open, especially in unfamiliar environments. Refusing to groom dogs based solely on that behavior seems excessive and unfair to responsible pet owners. If this information was incorrect, Petco should ensure employees are properly trained to explain the actual policy. If it is the official policy, I hope corporate reevaluates it because it excludes many dogs that could otherwise be safely groomed with the proper handling and care. I would appreciate clarification from Petco’s corporate team regarding whether this is truly the company’s official grooming policy.
