  Do not adopt from this store. Adopted a kitten and 2 days later had ringworm. Incubation for ringworm is 2-3 weeks so he did not get it from my house. Not to mention I have other pets that do not have ringworm. Petco wants you to drive an hour and a half to Lake Jackson for exam. That 3+hours of travel time what???? Cost $330 for diagnoses and a full 7 week nightmare and medication and bathing. Not to mention their “Petlove” microchip is supposed to be free. It is not. In order to register you have to pay otherwise the chip is useless. Do not adopt from Petco. Save yourself the headache. Would give 0 stars if I could.

  Unlike the Spring #01432 19507 I45 North the ppl do not greet you when walking in. The store appeared clustered and this particular store didn't have the Hills Prescription Diet Gastrointestinal Biome I was looking for anyway

  My experience at this Petco location was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, the staff was unfriendly and, at times, had a rude attitude. Instead of offering help and guidance, I felt like they questioned my ability to care for fish, as if I was not prepared or experienced enough. They asked many questions, some of which felt unnecessary, and they did not take into consideration that I have more than five years of experience keeping fish and that I have fish that have been with me for three years. The most serious issue is that I purchased fish that later showed signs of parasites. I was never informed that the fish might be sick or that there was any health concern. By bringing these fish into my aquarium, I exposed all of my other fish, including fish that I have cared for over several years. This caused a great deal of stress and forced me to spend additional time, money, and effort treating my entire aquarium. It is unacceptable for a pet store to sell fish in this condition and then make the customer feel as if the problem is due to a lack of experience. I expected support and responsibility from a store that specializes in pet care, but instead I received poor customer service and felt judged. I would not recommend this location. I hope management takes action to improve both the customer service and the care and health standards for the animals they sell.

  Love the Staff here!! Most Petcos are all the same there is nothing extremely different about this one. However the staff is great! They're always kind and helpful! And that type of customer service is rare these days.
