My pet and I travel, and move a lot and the Banfield in humble has one of the best staffs in the country. Banfield and their monthly plans are the best value for veterinary care service your pet can have. Your vaccinations are included, and monthly preventatives can be added as well. You get unlimited fee free appointments, discounts on medication, treatment, and diagnostic services, and even at some emergency clinics outside of banfield. They also give you referrals for specialists. Banfield is so helpful that I've never had to take my dog to an emergency care clinic because if there is no availability at your usual clinic, they will help you find a banfield in your vacinity that does. This ability to get you seen immediately has saved my dogs life on one occasion, and is almost impossible to insure and provide with a private single location clinic. In Colorado an emergency surgery was needed and they saved my dog, as well as thousands of dollars on the surgery from discounts I recieved due to being a monthly plan member. My dog has always been able to be seen promptly, if not immediately in Texas, Colorado, Minnesota, and I'm sure this is the case throughout the country. While I've liked some clinics and their staff more than others, I've never been unhappy with the service or attentiveness that has been provided at any location, and again humble is one of the best.

Can’t say enough nice things about this place. Went out of their way to help me when they didn’t have to.

My experience at this PetSmart location was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I purchased goldfish from this store, and when I got home and looked more closely, I realized that one of the fish had a very large open wound and visible parasites. I immediately returned to the store with the fish still in the bag to explain the situation and ask for help. The manager’s response was very unprofessional and showed a complete lack of empathy. Instead of listening to my concerns, she told me that I had supposedly already been informed that the fish was sick because I had purchased medication. However, the medication I purchased was for ich (white spot disease) as a precaution to have at home; it was not for parasites. Nobody informed me that the fish I was purchasing was sick or had any health issues. I also want to make it clear that although these goldfish may be inexpensive and some people purchase them as feeder fish for other animals, that was not my purpose. I purchased these fish to care for them and keep them as pets. To me, every animal deserves proper care and attention, regardless of its price. The value of a living creature should never determine how important its health and well-being are. If my only concern had been keeping the healthy fish, the easiest thing would have been to dispose of the sick fish and keep the others. But I did not do that. I was concerned about the fish’s well-being and about the risk of exposing my other fish, some of which have been with me for years. That is why I returned to the store seeking help from people who are supposed to have experience and knowledge in animal care. My intention was for the fish to receive treatment and to prevent putting my other fish at risk. I explained to the manager that if I had known the fish had a disease or parasites, I would have never brought it into my aquarium. I asked her to review the cameras or speak with the employee who assisted me so she could confirm that nobody warned me about the fish’s condition. She refused to review the cameras and refused to find the employee who helped me. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the manager simply refused to help me and told me she would not exchange the fish. Her attitude was cold, arrogant, and completely lacking empathy. I felt ignored, disrespected, and judged instead of feeling that my concerns were being taken seriously as a customer. At that point, because of the way I was treated and the lack of willingness to find a solution, I decided to leave the bag with the fish on the counter and told her that I no longer wanted to keep it under those circumstances. I left the store very upset about the situation and about the way I was treated. I have years of experience caring for fish and aquariums, and it was very frustrating to be treated as if I did not know what I was doing instead of being listened to and helped. A store that sells live animals should care about the health of the animals they sell and treat customers with respect. This experience made me feel that the main focus was simply making sales, regardless of whether the animals were sick or whether they could put other pets at risk. To me, that shows a lack of responsibility and commitment to proper animal care. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I hope management reviews this situation and takes action to improve both customer service and the standards for the care and sale of live animals.

Recently moved to the area from another part of Texas and took my dog for an annual visit. We had Dr. Uche Ajufo during our visit, as well as friendly staff and vet techs. He was so thorough, visiting with my dog and I, and completed the physical exam and vaccinations in the room. He was extremely pleasant and addressed all of my concerns, and made sure my dog had everything needed until his next visit. I am so happy with the care my dog received I would recommend them.
