I love this PetSmart and was excited to bring my dog to Banfield Pet Hospital. I booked my appointment online in advance and arrived 15 minutes early. Unfortunately, after waiting for a few minutes, the front desk employee, Rene, asked us to wait outside and then called to inform us that our appointment would need to be rescheduled because the doctor had left early. Since this was my first visit, I also wanted to ask about the wellness plans and insurance options available for my dog. Rene was extremely rude, rushed through the conversation, and seemed uninterested in answering my questions. His behavior was unprofessional and made for a very disappointing first impression. I later spoke with a manager at PetSmart to get additional information, and they were much more helpful. Overall, the customer service I received from Banfield was very poor, and the experience left me frustrated and unlikely to return

Do NOT bring your dog here. I simply wanted my dogs nails trimmed and of course this purely for profit vet needed $400 dollars worth of BS vaccines and shots to do it. Immediately after the shots my GF calls and my pugs face is so swollen that she’s bleeding through her skin and has shallow breathing. They’re extremely lucky that my dog didn’t die. The issue is my dog and your dog doesn’t need this unnecessary poison. The dog doesn’t NEED anything but they NEED your money so they put your animals at risk. Then to top it off I get my dog back with a $400 bill and nails clipped on 2 of 4 paws. We didn’t look up this office but I wish I had because the reviews are consistently bad for a reason. If you love your animals stay away.

Dr Adams is completely incompetent. She can’t properly administer tests, and I had to go to a new vet just to find out that Dr Adams completely missed the diagnosis. Doesn’t communicate well at all, tries to rush you out the door and won’t explain anything. Highly recommend avoiding this place.

I brought my dog in for a scheduled vaccine appointment and left disappointed. The front desk did not acknowledge me upon arrival, and there were noticeable cleanliness issues -- visible urine near the front area, a dirty scale, and pet hair on the exam table. After waiting about 20 minutes, my dog was taken to the back for the exam. I never saw or spoke to the vet at any point during the visit. An ear cleaning was recommended, but I was told it would take a couple of hours due to consent verification and other appointments. For a routine visit, this felt excessive and poorly communicated. I chose to leave and go elsewhere. I do appreciate that they did not charge the exam fee. However, overall the experience felt transactional rather than professional. I hope the clinic improves cleanliness, communication, and client interaction standards.
