- CLChristie LopezSep 30, 20261.0I used to take my animals to the westbury animal hospital near by, but I wanted to utilize the care plan Banfield offers as I have 3 dogs. Honestly I should’ve never switched vets. I felt more cared for and heard at westbury animal hospital than at Banfield. The people who work at Banfield are more concerned about their paycheck than ensuring you and your animals are properly cared for and given proper attention. No one’s on the same page, their “policies” change depending who you ask, and their excuses are never ending. I’m glad my plans renewal date is coming up so I can stop paying over $300 a month for poor care.
- JGJordyn GoldbergSep 17, 20265.0I wanted to wait to write a review until I encountered the office personnel and doctors etc.. more and Honestly the best vet service and customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Everyone’s so attentive and friendly, especially when I come in with my babies and my dog they make sure to help me out. My dog needed surgery and They specifically accommodated me with finding the doctor who could do it at that specific location and how fast it could happen. The vet visits and surgery went great and the follow up visits continue to go very well. I’m actually so happy that it’s easy to drop my dog off or they will quickly do what they need to with him and then we all get to go home. It’s very convenient, the ladies I’ve encountered at the S post oak Location have been so awesome ! Sorry if I missed any names - Dr Wilborn, Aaliyah, Christian , Dr Luu, Tatiana, Jenna . I was skeptical about the wellness package but especially with a surgery and all the extra vet visits have definitely made it worth it , as far as I can tell as of now. Continue to do what y’all’s do ! We need more of this in the world today ! Thanks a bunch!

He recently had his annual teeth cleaning and exams on his wellness plan. He's also on a monthly Adaquan shot for his hip dysplasia and arthritis. They are great at referring us to specialists over the years for health issues that require certain expertise. They are always so patient and know us by name and are flexible with his appointments.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
