Broke my heart. My baby boy. I asked for a traditional body Yorkie cut and teddy bear face. I said don’t touch the ears and asked his face hair be kept long. This was his first hair cut and he came out looking like Lloyd Christmas, bowl cut and all. The girl was so so nice and sweet so I couldn’t bring myself to say anything. I’ll get better clippers and do it myself from now on or find a different groomer. I think they only cut hair one way and no blending at all.

I’d like to thank my groomer, who took care of my Ozzie, and Noel at the checkout for taking the time to be so kind and professional.

I had an amazing experience bringing Chloe in for grooming at the Harker Heights Petco. The staff is incredibly welcoming and clearly shows a genuine love for animals. The grooming team does fantastic work, handling the pets with expert care and patience. They completed the grooming in a timely manner, kept me updated, and gave me a full review of how everything went when I picked my happy, clean pup up. Highly recommend their team if you want your pet to look and feel their absolute best!

Review update: Vet confirmed, my dog does NOT have worms. I’ve used this location five times in the past year for my Pomeranian. The first few visits were simple puppy cuts, which made sense as he was getting used to grooming. However, once he transitioned out of puppy cuts, I requested a short trim and was firmly told it would “ruin” his coat. I trusted their judgment, but he came back looking exactly the same as before. During my most recent visit, I again asked for a short cut and was made to feel like I was harming his coat. The groomer reluctantly agreed, and less than an hour later I received two calls. The first groomer said she suspected my dog had tapeworm but wasn’t sure. I told her to continue unless she actually saw worms. Minutes later, a “senior groomer” called and said they would not continue because he did, in fact, have worms. While I understood the reason, the accusatory tone and pushy approach left a bad impression. I was already hesitant about returning, and this experience confirmed my concerns. There were no signs he had worms, and I didn’t appreciate being made to feel like I pressured the groomer when she herself was unsure. I won’t be returning.
