We are beyond grateful for the incredible team at Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery in Grapevine, TX!
Our beloved search dog Charlie was recently diagnosed with a benign tumor in her mouth that needed to be removed as soon as possible. From the very first phone call all the way to picking her up after surgery, Dr. Natalie Henderson and her staff were empathetic, professional, and genuinely caring every single step of the way.
When we mentioned that Charlie works as a search dog, they took that to heart in the most beautiful way — displaying her photo on the treatment room monitors - as a reminder of just how special she is.
And when Charlie woke up crying in her kennel after recovery? Dr. Henderson let her out to follow her around the office until we arrived. That says everything about the kind of people they are.
We applaud Dr. Henderson for having the confidence and skill to perform this surgery while delivering a truly successful outcome. And we applaud her entire staff, as they treated Charlie like she was their only patient in an office full of many other beloved pets — each one clearly getting the same extraordinary care.
Dr. Czuba is the best vet I’ve ever met.
Winky is my little old, one-eyed, deaf and blind gangster dog who won’t let anyone touch him. When I got him, he had a mouth full of horrible teeth and years of dental problems.
First surgery (August):
Dr. Czuba removed all the urgent teeth, but because Winky is old, she had to keep the anesthesia time short. While he was under, the team even gave him a pedicure because Winky absolutely refuses to let anyone touch his paws otherwise. Recovery was rough, and he needed extra opioid pain meds afterward. Dr. Czuba personally called me back to check on him, and the whole staff was incredibly supportive during recovery.
Three months later (November):
Winky had a bad oral flare-up and we ended up in the ER four times. During one visit, he had a cluster seizure caused by a drug interaction from trazodone prescribed by one of his regular vets to get him through the weekend until the dental clinic reopened. Nobody caught the interaction ... not two of his regular vets from two different clinics, and not the ER doctor. Dr. Czuba did. She called me herself as soon as she realized it after reviewing Winky’s ER records.
Second surgery (December):
Luckily there was a cancellation and they got Winky in quickly. Dr. Czuba removed the two culprit teeth, and the team gave him another pedicure while he was under. Recovery this time was awful. Three sleepless weeks and an urgent care visit later, we finally got through it.
Two months later (February):
Winky suddenly developed this weird neck pouch that made him look like a little upset iguana. Winky’s new vet didn’t know what it was. I emailed Dr. Czuba photos, and she called me back herself. She told me exactly what it was, warned me not to let anyone stick a needle into it because it could get infected, and even offered to help me monitor it through photos.
Three months later (May):
Winky started acting off again ... pawing at his muzzle, not sleeping, not finishing his food. Dr. Czuba sedated him for a full exam, ran bloodwork, and thankfully everything looked okay. She also gave me one of the most thorough explanations of bloodwork results I’ve ever received in 23 years of having dogs ... and she wasn’t even Winky’s primary vet. While Winky was under, the team gave him another pedicure and even expressed his anal glands … things a lot of specialists probably wouldn’t have bothered doing.
What can I say?
Dr. Czuba and her team have gone above and beyond for my difficult little dog over and over again. They’re compassionate, thorough, and they genuinely care. I trust them completely with my little Winky.

We took our cat here in 2024 for a consultation & then she had 4 teeth removed. The staff was absolutely wonderful, and our cat had a noticeable improvement in demeanor after coming in. They provided detailed updates throughout the surgery and detailed notes that we are still able to refer to. We saw Dr Nossaman. Highly recommend this practice!

So glad we chose this dental practice for our cat Light Foot! He and his brother were Grand Prairie community cats for 2 years, but in December 2025 we adopted both of them and brought them inside to live in our sunroom. After a complete check out, we found out that Light Foot had some serious dental issues. Dr. Kathryn Levitt was the doctor who saw Light Foot at his consultation visit, and she was very gentle and understood how to talk to and approach a fearful kitty. We really appreciated having Dr. Levitt call us (herself) to discuss what the x-rays and exam showed before she proceeded, and call us again afterwards to let us know how it went - even though it was after normal hours. All the staff I talked to were wonderful, I trusted the doctor and staff caring for Light Foot. He stayed at the hospital next door overnight and they were helpful when I called to check on him.
Light Foot had his follow up yesterday and is doing well! Thankful for Dr. Levitt, Nita, Dr. Henderson and the rest of the staff! Purrs
All I can say is they are the most thorough and professionally staffed. As well as any dental oral surgery center for humans and do as good of a job. I was so impressed on our first visit, that I waited almost 5 weeks for an appointment to do extensive work on our 5 year old schnauzer. That needed a lot of bone work on a jaw. and I can not say enough about Dr. Menke. she's wonderful , explained everything in detail with pictures of what they found , the prognosis, and future work that will need to be done. If I could give them 10 stars I would and the price for Onree to feel good again and be healthy, I would not hesitate again. and she even worked within our $ 4500 budget and will finish the work needed in 3 to 6 months. I would have paid them twice for the kind of service and care we received.
