  ​I cannot praise the team at this Petco location enough. After a completely miserable and hostile experience at a different pet store in town (PetSmart), we came here to try and salvage what was supposed to be a special milestone. My daughter had saved up her own babysitting money to buy her very first fish tank, and this team made sure it was the magical experience it was supposed to be. ​The staff at the aquatics department were night and day compared to the competition. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely excited to help a young kid get started the right way in the hobby. They wore their name tags proudly, answered all of our questions with zero attitude, and clearly explained everything we needed to know. ​They completely turned a frustrating afternoon into a fantastic memory for my daughter. This is exactly how customer service should be done. They have absolutely earned our loyalty, and we will be bypassing the other guys to come straight here from now on. Thank you, Petco Georgetown team!

  I went to petco today to get some stuff for my dogs and I see this employee named Chris just standing around not doing anything while there are other people in the store who need help. I also saw this young lady named Alicia doing everything while this guy Chris just stands there not helping her. This isn't the first time I have seen this guy Chris not doing anything. Every time I go to petco he is not doing anything or trying to help anyone. I think he should get fired. Also thank you to the nice young lady named Alicia for everything she does for the store and for the people. We really appreciate her a lot.

  First time visiting. Definitely recommend Petco over petsmart. Needed a harness for my new dog, Nallely, and Alicia not only helped me pick a harness out, they took their time to show me how to put it on and even helped me adjust it to fit my little one. Now he loves his new fit. I loved the whole interaction and the store was well put together, all the animals were so lovely. Will be coming back in the near future.

  Been here with my dog for a nail trim maybe 5 times and 4 of those times they have missed a nail. Never coming back. Care more.
