  This is the second time I’ve had an issue with employees not being at the registers/check out line at the frisco west store. I saw an employee filling dog bins at the end of the aisle, so after my husband and I waited and she was not noticing us there, I approached her asking if she was working the registers as well. She looked up and snapped at me stating she was also working there and could not see the register from where she was standing. I was kinda shocked she snapped at me like this. I stated she could possible peek her head around to make sure no customers were in line. I think maybe she was having a bad day, but poor representation of proper customer service. I go to this Petco because it’s closest to my home, but the last 2 visits have been poor quality service. Previous visit, there were 6 people in line and no employees around by the registers. I finally approached the vet service desk who paged employees overhead to the front. It still took a few minutes for employees to get to the registers. Not sure what has happened to customer service at this Petco. I may just skip buying my cat food here and order from chewy. Hope things improve here. I posted a pic of the employee that was rude.

  I wanted to give this location a chance, but the customer service lacks. I waited 15 mins just for an employee to check in 2 before me even though I was there first. Im not hard to miss Large BlaCk Man with 2 very happy pit bulls. It was very hot in the store and no one approached me to even acknowledge my appointment. I canceled. Will NOT RETURN! 2 stars because the customers acknowledged me and my dogs. Thank you shoppers dont come again.

  I went in here today on a whim and was overwhelmed by the options of cat food for my newly adopted cat. I asked an associate (Saturn)for some guidance and she was absolutely wonderful! She asked me a lot of questions which made me feel confident she knew what our needs were. She explained to me the companies she would use and why. We went over ingredient list and compared some price options. Overall I took one of the brands she recommended and feeds to her cat. She was kind, fun and impressively informative! Thank you Saturn! We will be shopping at Petco from now on! 😸❤️

  Disappointed with our recent grooming appointment. Emily gave our golden retriever, Einstein, a noticeably uneven, choppy haircut — patchy in places, nothing like what you’d expect from a professional groom. When I called and asked to speak with Justin, the manager, he didn’t come to the phone — instead had another employee, Micah, relay a response for him. I had to call back a second time before Justin actually got on the line himself. When we finally spoke, his only offer was to bring Einstein back to be “fixed” by the same groomer who did the bad job in the first place, or get a refund. When I asked if a different, regular groomer could fix it instead, he said I’d be charged extra for that. Asking a customer to pay again to correct someone else’s mistake — or trust the same groomer who caused the problem — isn’t an acceptable resolution, and avoiding the first call didn’t help either. We won’t be returning to this location. If you’re particular about your dog’s coat, I’d look elsewhere.
