- SSShanenJul 27, 20262.0Don’t bother coming here. I have had multiple bad experiences. I finally wrote a review to the Banfield Cares email (because this Banfield didn’t give me an option to rate my experience) and got a reply back from a Banfield Cares customer service rep that my email would be forwarded to the team there. I got a call same day from the rep at this Banfield and though she was nice, she didn’t help me at all nor make me feel any better. She defended the Vet and told me that she’s sorry that I took the Vet’s way of communication wrong. That the Vet was very good at her job, but she has a unique way of explaining things. The customer service team is supposed to figure out a way to make the customer more understanding, no? Instead, I was left with more anger than before because all I heard was a defensive rep who was not listening to what I was saying. That Vet’s name is Dr. Zimmerman btw and she conveniently is no longer part of this specific Banfield. Also Jeff at the front desk wasn’t helpful as well. I didn’t include my experiences in this review because it was way too long to explain, but if anyone wants any further information, I’m MORE than happy to provide. The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars rather than 1 is because I think Dr. Kelly is a great vet and there are some staff members that seem decent enough.

My cat really really needs the meds for his nausea. They assured me they would have it there for me to pick up. I walk in and the lady gives me attitude and acts confused like I didn’t say I’d be there to pick it up. She tells me “well won’t you be here tomorrow”. Yes but my cat isn’t feeling well today. Really shows you how much they care. Mind you I pay a health plan monthly and at least expected for good service. She said the registers were closed. I’m wondering why everything was shut down 45 mins before closing. They pick their own closing hours and don’t take much into consideration. Very disappointing.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
