  I am extremely disappointed and upset with the way we were treated by the receptionist, Gloria. This morning, I tried to schedule an appointment online for my dog because she had been in ear pain all night. I was unable to complete the appointment because the website was not loading properly. Since her ear was extremely swollen and she was clearly in a lot of pain, I decided to take her directly to the hospital and explain the situation in person, hoping they could help us because of the urgency. Gloria refused to have my dog seen, stating that there were no appointments available. I went back to my car and decided to try scheduling the appointment online again. To my surprise, there was availability—a 10:15 a.m. appointment, along with several other available time slots. I immediately booked the 10:15 a.m. appointment and returned to the hospital at approximately 10:10 a.m., this time with a confirmed appointment. Despite that, Gloria once again refused to have my dog seen, even though I now had a valid, confirmed appointment. That is what I find most unacceptable. I was not asking for special treatment or demanding that my dog be seen without an appointment. My dog was suffering, her ear was extremely swollen, and after I was specifically told there was no availability, I found multiple available appointments myself and booked one of them. Even then, they still refused to see her. I completely understand that a veterinary hospital can be busy and that there are policies that need to be followed, but there is a huge difference between being unable to help and simply being unwilling to help. When someone works at a veterinary hospital, especially at the front desk where worried pet owners come seeking care for their animals, compassion, respect, and a willingness to find a solution should be the bare minimum. My experience with Gloria today was completely the opposite. I believe that someone who shows so little willingness to help when an animal is clearly suffering should seriously question whether working in a veterinary hospital is the right place for them. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled and, above all, with the lack of compassion and consideration shown toward my dog when she clearly needed medical attention. This experience has definitely made me question whether I can trust this hospital with the care of my pets in the future.

  The Banfield location in Lake Worth, Texas continues to be amazing—they are always helpful and informative and take the time to call and discuss concerns and plans for treatment. They allow me to drop off my dog in the morning and pick her up later in the day rather than wait with her.

  OUTRAGEOUS PRICE! $543! They try to scam you by offering you a monthly care plan. Save yourself some $$. Go to TEXAS PAW CARE! They charged us $90 for the exact same treatment for an 8 pound dog. They actually care about pets not just money. Really nice people.

  Felt like we were out of options of finding care for our German Shepherd but Banfield really helped us with their different options of care plans and helped us pick the best one for her and saved us so much money! They took such amazing care of our girl Athena and so blessed for all of the staff and the doctors that helped her
