- AMAngie MontesJun 25, 20261.0So yesterday I rush my dog to this location,and the ladies that were there told me there was nothing they could do for my dog since the doctor wasn't there yet so I ask them ,could you at least check her vitals and they refuse. My dog is doing better but not thanks to them.what kind of animal hospital is this and the people that work there have no love or care for animals.

The staff member I dealt with couldn’t explain any of the programs available for my pet, didn’t know which vaccines were recommended, and I never even got to see the doctor. On top of that, I was charged more for the visit than for the vaccines themselves. Overall, it felt disorganized and unprofessional.
- SHSummer HFeb 8, 20251.0My dog’s appointment was at 12:45pm. They called me saying they won’t take my dog if we don’t arrive by 9:00am. Went to another place which treated us well and helped our dog right away. Never again Banfield Sunland. You lost a client.

The receptionist, who shares my last name, remembers us every time. The people that escort my dogs to the back room have been kind and understanding when my dogs are stressed. They have made sure to put my dogs in a shared kennel space when receiving services. The doctors have been kind and compassionate. I have been very pleased. Thank you Banfield at Sunland!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
