- MNMan nyApr 22, 20263.0Tough review. They have great care and service. But I gotta be honest, the franchise as a whole has a lot of overhead and you pay for it as a customer. Firstly, there's a consult fee that you have to pay and it's only good for a set period of time. Then you have to bring your pet back for whatever appointment. In my case I had my cat needed shots, and they put it on you to do the research of what shots you want (don't really look out for you). In my specific case I just needed the baseline shots but they tried to ask us for more that we did not need. Reality is you can pay for those same shots through other networks for the price of the consult fee. Ultimately, I think you're paying way too much for convenience at Vetco and the fact that the consult fee does not go towards the actual medical procedure you want is wildly absurd. In this economy I would advise you to do the research and look into alternatives. If you don't mind paying a lot of extra for care for your pet, then they will do right by you.

I appreciated that he didn’t try to push extra tests or anything unnecessary, which made it feel a lot more honest! He also took the time to explain what was going on with my cats in a way that actually made sense, which I don’t always get at vet visits. You can tell he and his tech, Melissa, cares and isn’t just rushing people through. Definitely my go-to vet now! Thanks Dr Cisneros and Melissa!
