  Yesterday I took my doodle to Petco for grooming and left extremely disappointed. Before the groom, the groomer thoroughly checked him for matting and assured me everything was fine except around his collar. I was also told I would receive a call if anything changed. When I picked him up, my dog was practically bald. The explanation was that there was much more matting than expected, which was confusing considering he had already been examined and cleared beforehand. If that was truly the case, I should have been contacted before such a drastic cut was made. What frustrated me most was being told it was “the length I wanted” when it clearly wasn’t. The haircut is much shorter than discussed and looks poorly done. I understand matting can sometimes require a shorter cut, but the lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. The only positive was that his ears were cleaned well. This was my first and last grooming appointment with Petco. I could have butchered my dog at home for free

  Petco had great rates. The store was decent, but the employees were nasty rude and incompetent. I almost left the items there and went to pet supply plus. There’s were two Hispanic ladies there that we asked for help in purchasing a reptile and they were both rude snappy with us. 1 of them almost refused to sell to us because she thought she knew better than we did

  This was my first time getting my 1-year-old Jindo groomed, and I was a little nervous at first. Deborah did a fantastic job and took great care of my puppy. The grooming turned out wonderful, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I highly recommend Deborah and will definitely be coming back!

  Horrible service. I was 10 mins late and did not want to see me and my cat is suffering!!! Horrible just Horrible. My appointment was at 230 om, I got there @ 240pm do to traffic, although my Uber driver was cutting corners t I get me there on time. I can understand 30 mins or so. I came from far to get the service for my cat. Thr funny thing, the vet was still attending to its patient during my appointment time....go figure huh, customer service from the front desk,left a horrible taste too. This was my 2nd visit too.
