we always receive Great care at Banfield. They are very aware of making sure you know how much any procedure, checkup or Medication is going to cost So there are no surprises at the end of the visit. they are incredibly sweet to my dog and always try to get us in as quickly as possible After the appointments, the vet does a fantastic job explaining what happened during the visit and if any further care is needed

My pup became sick and was misdiagnosed by the vets there. They claimed he had leptospirosis and was referred to a specialist. The new specialist discovered the lepto test was never even completed and he was incorrectly perscribed treatment as they "guessed" without proper testing. We lost a week of treatment as my dog became more ill and passed 9 days later. After this complete BS service by Banfield i called to cancel his Pet Insurance as he was gone. I was informed his "insurance" is actually not that- it's a pre-paid medical expenses which in totality is a complete joke. I have to pre pay for expense my dog may or may not use?? This is MY FAULT for not reading through more comprehensively but to charge a monthly rate for a deceased pet that was more a family member is some absolute garbage business and worse human behavior. I get reminded they misdiagnosed my dog each month via a lovely automatic payment. DO NOT take your pets here. Complete lack of professional work and even worse people to keep charging for a deceased pet. Dumpster juice company.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Bandfield Pet Hoapital on Forest Lane in Dallas. I had a pre-scheduled appointment for my dog’s dental cleaning and expected the visit to go smoothly.
I waited about 30 minutes before being seen. When I was finally helped by a staff member named Alex, I found her to be rude and impatient. I asked several questions about my dog’s procedure and care, and instead of answering them professionally, she seemed frustrated that I was asking questions.
After our conversation, Alex told me they would not be providing my dog’s dental cleaning, even though I have the monthly wellness plan. She initially mentioned that they did not have a record of my dog’s rabies vaccination. However, the impression I was left with was that the appointment was being canceled because she no longer wanted to take my pet as a patient, not simply because of the vaccination record.
If there was an issue with my dog’s records, it should have been identified and communicated before my scheduled appointment. Instead, I spent my time coming in for an appointment that was ultimately refused after an unpleasant interaction.
I left feeling disrespected and disappointed by the lack of professionalism and communication. I hope the clinic improves the way it treats clients and handles these situations in the future.

Staff is super friendly and helped our dog with his ear infection. They were thankfully able to fit him in with a same day drop off appointment! The vet called with an update and reviewed treatment options with me, while not making me feel pressured. She was very kind and definitely made me feel like he was very well taken care of while at Banfield. I normally take him to our original Banfield off Coit in Richardson. However, since we live close by, it is nice to know this is a great location option too! :) Will definitely be back.

I just had the most frustrating experience at this Banfield location. My appointment was at 12 and they asked me to come in at 11:45, which I did. I had booked an in-room appointment and then finally at 12:20 I went to asked when I would be seen since I had been waiting 35 min. The front desk then told me she forgot about me essentially and I got helped right away. When I got helped they tried to take my dog for a drop off appointment and I reminded them I did not book a drop off appointment. They tried to tell me I was mistaken, but I had text messages from your staff confirming it was an in-room appointment. The vet was apparently in surgery and no one could give my dog a vaccine. I have a been on the pet plus plan for YEARS for both of my dogs and this type of service is truly unacceptable. I will be cancelling my 2 plans for my pets unless I am contacted with some sort of resolution.

We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
