Dr. Thorne was very knowledgeable and very proactive on treating kennel cough in my dog.

1 star since they were able to get my dog in, however I wouldn’t recommend this location to any pet owner. The manager Celia, was not pleasant on the phone and felt the need to go back and forth over my dogs condition. The Vet assistant lied on the phone, the other assistant who was “treating” my dog, didn’t have any knowledge as to what was going on. Dr. Thorne, wouldn’t trust her with my dog again based off her interactions on the phone. She sighed during any question I asked her, as I told her the Vet Assistant was not confident on the phone to go over my dogs conditions. I was told he was “ok” but then prescribed different treatments. Dr. Thorne made a nasty comment about the cost instead of explaining. As my dog is my ESA & Service Animal, I wouldn’t trust the Manager Celia, the Hispanic male Vet Assistant, nor Dr. Thorne again with my dog.

A second star for the kind receptionist and staff, otherwise I wouldn't recommend bringing your pet here. I booked an appointment that specifically said in-room on the time slot and when I arrived they considered it a drop off which was a hard no. My dog is anxious and cannot be left alone so I waited for two and a half hours because the vet was operating on other animals DURING my scheduled appointment time. Then to make things worse, they still didn't allow me to come to the back with my dog when it came "time" which created a lot of tension for me as he is my emotional support animal. When the vet came back, I felt rushed as she stated she "made time for me" to come speak with me about my dog's condition while she informs me his heart is failing from heartworms, has no patience to explain to me my options and just reiterated her opinion on what she would do, which at the time seemed reasonable until I researched and called other local veterinarians and the method she suggested for my dogs condition is NOT recommended by the American Heartworm Society. This has been an awful waste of time and money as I've been using GoFundMe donations to help my dog and they knew this and still made this an uncomfortable experience for both of us. To put a cherry on top, they gave my dog back to me with trimmed nails, which I did not ask for and they cut his wick. Talk about "professional" and completely neglected to mention whether he needed his glands cleaned or not even when I asked them to check. This has been stressful enough, I appreciate the effort but it wasn't even close to the mark. We felt like a number, not a patient.

Took my newly rescued dog to the vet here for what was supposed to be just a general visit. My rescue started coughing and sneezing a few days before the appt. The staff here is great and you can tell they really care about the pets. Thank you for getting my boy on the mend!! Purchased a package for wellness great deal!!
