  I cannot recommend Banfield Pet Hospital enough for their exceptional veterinary care! From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff was welcoming, organized, and incredibly efficient with the check-in process. The veterinary technicians and doctors treated my pet with the utmost gentleness and compassion, making what is usually a stressful visit completely calm and comfortable. They took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly without ever making me feel rushed. I also appreciate how transparent they are with treatment plans and preventative care options. If you are looking for a skilled, compassionate team that truly loves animals, this is the place to go!

  "Appalled by the rude and dismissive customer service at this location. I arrived at 11:45 AM on Friday July 3, for my confirmed 12:00 PM appointment with my sick pet, Luny, bringing printed hard copies of my confirmation and rabies information. The receptionist refused to honor it. Without even checking her computer, she rudely insisted my appointment was at 11:15 AM and ignored my printed proof. She was not wearing a name badge and flat-out refused to give me her name when asked. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, she ignored me entirely. I stood at the desk for 15 minutes being deliberately ignored before I finally had to leave with my sick animal. Fortunately, Luny started eating and drinking and appears to be fine now, but no thanks to this clinic. Unacceptable attitude and zero compassion."

  Communication throughout the appointment was stellar. Every recommendation was explained clearly, without any high-pressure sales tactics, and they provided a comprehensive breakdown of the treatment plan. It is rare to find a veterinary team that balances high-level medical expertise with genuine compassion so seamlessly. If you are looking for a vet team that is thorough, deeply knowledgeable about unique breed needs, and truly cares about your pet's long-term well-being, Banfield is excellent. We will definitely be returning!

  We carry an expensive pet insurance with Banfield for our dog. I called to book an emergency appointment and they replied they do not have the tools to treat my pet and suggested I go to another clinic that I do not have insurance for. I was not privy to Banfield not being equipped to handle my pet's care. The insurance is too expensive to NOT be able to be seen in an emergency. I booked the emergency appointment at Oso and paid full price. I will be cancelling my Banfield and shop for an insurance that may be valuable and more reliable for our pet. Just be informed they do not handle emergencies. Their insurance I was informed is for preventive care only. As a follow up, I urge people considering buying Banfield insurance - they do not see your pet without an appointment or an emergency - please consider buying an insurance that is taken at a 24/7 Veterinarian hospital. I called after taking our pet to a 24/7 hospital to do a followup check and was given an appointment one week away because they would be closed for the holidays. In that time my pet had to go back to the 24/7 hospital and re-diagnosed and taken to emergency surgery. Banfield would not see him. The 24/7 hospitals are very expensive without an insurance plan in place. Banfield in Corpus Christi will NOT see your pet on the same day and show NO concern. Their customer call service wait time is very long and the front office needs alot of training. I am a more than 20+ customer of Banfield with 3 pets and this has been our experience.
