  I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at this Petco location today. My daughter was dropping off our dog for a 9:00 a.m. grooming appointment. She had never been to this location before and arrived at the front entrance at 9:00 a.m., only to find the store closed. There were no signs directing grooming customers to a side entrance and no clear indication that grooming check-in was located elsewhere. As a first-time visitor to this location, she had no way of knowing where to go. After trying to figure out the correct entrance, she arrived at the grooming area at approximately 9:07 a.m. Instead of being met with understanding, the groomer immediately became agitated, rude, and stated that she was "super late." The groomer then attempted to cancel the appointment. A seven-minute delay caused by unclear directions and a lack of signage should not have resulted in such poor treatment. Rather than listening to the situation or showing any level of customer service, the groomer was dismissive and unwilling to understand what had happened. What makes this even more disappointing is that my own previous experience at this location was positive. The staff had been accommodating and professional, which is why I felt comfortable scheduling another appointment. Unfortunately, today's interaction completely changed my opinion. Management should seriously consider adding clear signage at the front of the store directing grooming customers to the proper entrance. More importantly, staff should be trained to handle situations like this with patience and professionalism. Customers should not be made to feel unwelcome because they were confused by the store's layout—especially when visiting for the first time. This was a simple misunderstanding that could have been resolved with kindness and communication. Instead, it resulted in the loss of a customer. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

  The Carrollton Petco store is one of the best I’ve gone to. It is well stocked, has a huge assortment and excellent customer service.

  Products are always in the wrong spot with incorrect prices! Took me 15 minutes to purchase a 4 lb bag of dog food & no one else was in the store! It has happened twice recently at 2 different locations! Won’t be back!

  AWESOME customer service! Every time I go to this location the staff are always friendly and go above and beyond to make sure my shopping experience is great! They genuinely care about your pets needs and health and make sure that you’re getting the best nutritional products your pet deserves!
