Absolutely atrocious!!! I brought my Gentle loving Great Dane (Service Dog) to this veterinary clinic expecting professionalism, compassion, and basic respect. Instead, I was left sitting there for 30 minutes, waiting while I could literally overhear staff discussing my dog and one of them saying, “I am not going near that Great Dane.” Let that sink in. If you are a veterinary professional and you are afraid or unwilling to handle a particular breed, then say so upfront. Don't take someone's money, put them in a room, make them wait, and then have your staff openly discuss how they don't want to approach the animal. My dog is gentle and loving of people. Yes he is big (surprise?!) > He was a Great Dane! The lack of professionalism was astonishing. What bothered me most wasn't even the wait, it was hearing the dismissive attitude toward my dog while I was sitting there as a paying client without so much as sending in a tech to gather info! Veterinary medicine requires patience, confidence, and compassion > not breed-based assumptions and whispered conversations within earshot of the owner. If you don't feel comfortable treating a Great Dane, just say so. Don't waste someone's time and make them feel like their dog is a problem simply because of his size, when the problem is YOUR own bias! DO NOT TRUST this place! Needless to say I will not be returning, to Vetco OR Petco and I would strongly encourage Great Dane and Giant dog owners to think twice before choosing this clinic. >> Dr. Dror was listed on the board as the one in attendance and he is the one I overheard.

My dog was shaking his head and body all the time and seemed anxious. I took him to Vetco for an exam to see what is happening. They told me it’s anxiety and gave me a pain medication to calm him. I took him 3 days later to another veterinary because I was not convinced Vetco did a real exam, they found a severe infection in his ears and sever skin allergy that made him itch constantly. They treated his ears and gave him pills for the allergy. he stopped shaking. And anxiousness dropped.
