  The staff was illinformed and beyond unhelpful. After an associate made a mistake, I had to wait 20 minutes for the manager, Lilly, to ultimately tell me to call the general customer service number under the premise of her being "busy."

  I came to this Petco at 10:45 a.m. for the grooming appointment I had scheduled for my dog. There was a Spanish-speaking employee there who seemed extremely stressed from the moment we arrived. Everything we asked about was met with “no, no, no” or “that can’t be done.” The customer service was absolutely terrible. We even asked about something that another employee at the same location had already told us could be done, and instead of trying to help or clarify, she simply told us that we could cancel our appointment. I honestly got the impression that she simply did not want to work or deal with us. The service was truly awful—by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve had dogs for over 20 years and have never had such a bad experience with a grooming service, and the appointment hadn’t even started yet. Needless to say, I canceled my appointment. There was absolutely no way I was going to leave my pet in the care of someone who behaved that way from the very beginning.
