I've been bringing my cats here since 2024, and I wouldn't trust them anywhere else. I've visited other Banfield locations when this branch was fully booked, as well as other clinics, but this team has always stood out for genuinely putting my pets first instead of trying to upsell unnecessary services. As a first-time cat owner, I came in with a lot of anxiety after unexpectedly losing my very first pet as a child. The doctors and staff were incredibly patient, answered all my questions, and helped me become a much more confident pet parent. Because of them, I even feel comfortable fostering cats now. If you've met Dr. Reinisch, you know why he's so highly regarded. During my first visit, my kitten had what looked like ringworm on his ear. Earlier that day, another clinic wanted to charge over $100 for testing after saying it was "probably" ringworm. Dr. Reinisch simply used a UV light to confirm it immediately. When I told him I'd already purchased the medication elsewhere, he even gave me a dose of kitten Revolution at no charge. I walked out paying nothing. That visit earned my trust, and I enrolled my cat in a Banfield Wellness Plan the very next day. All three of my cats are still on Wellness Plans because of this team. When Dr. Reinisch isn't available, I completely trust Dr. Brar as well. My second cat occasionally gets eye flare-ups, and instead of prescribing something new, he reviewed my cat's history and recommended using the medication I already had from a previous visit. It solved the problem, and I appreciated that he prioritized what was best for my cat rather than selling me more medication. I also highly recommend the Wellness Plan, especially the option that includes annual dental cleanings and Revolution Plus. I compared what I actually paid under the plan with what the same exams, surgeries, dental cleanings, preventive care, and Revolution Plus would have cost at regular pricing. Based on my calculations, the Wellness Plan covered close to half of the total annual cost. Beyond the savings, it gives me peace of mind because I never hesitate to bring my cats in for the preventive care they need. The entire team deserves recognition. Jean, Reagan, and Astrid know my cats by name, understand their personalities, and always help keep both my pets and me at ease. I never feel pressured to spend more than necessary. They consistently recommend what's best for my cats, and that's why I'll continue recommending this Banfield location to anyone looking for a veterinary team they can truly trust.

Great staff..friendly, explanatory and clear with the cost of each service that I wanted to have done. So no surprises. Fast but thorough.

Update 7/4/26 Just got amazing news. That Dr. Reinisch we'll be back full-time in Addison in a couple weeks. So glad to have peace of mind for my animals care again. Previous post Over the years, my experience at Banfield in Addison has had its ups and downs. When I first started coming here, there was a wonderful doctor who eventually left, and for about two years after that, the location relied on rotating temporary doctors. That lack of consistency was difficult. Things truly improved when Dr. Reinisch joined. He is, without question, one of the most dedicated and compassionate veterinarians I have encountered within Banfield. He takes the time to listen, ensures that both pets and owners feel heard, and consistently goes above and beyond to provide excellent care. Thanks to his leadership, the clinic has grown significantly, with a strong amazing team and what seems like a very loyal client base. About two years ago, a second veterinarian, Dr. Brar, was brought in to help with demand. While he is kind and likely very capable, I have personally struggled with communication due to a language barrier, which makes it challenging when discussing my dog’s health. I was recently informed that Dr. Brar will now become the primary doctor at this location, and Dr. Reinisch will transition to a traveling role, only being available in Addison on Tuesdays. This change is incredibly disappointing. Like many other clients, I have come to rely on Dr. Reinisch’s care and trust him deeply with my pets. As a result, I’ve had to cancel my upcoming appointments while I figure out next steps—whether that means adjusting my schedule to continue seeing Dr. Reinisch or finding a new provider altogether. It’s frustrating to feel uncertain about the level of care and familiarity I can expect moving forward. Overall, I’m very disappointed in the direction this location is taking, especially after years of building trust and consistency with such an outstanding veterinarian. All my love to the team, today is a sad day for all of us.

I took in my 12-year-old Bengal for vaccinations. He has had a swollen belly developing and I was afraid it was a cancerous tumor. Dr. Reinisch suggested blood work and it came back clean so whatever is growing inside of him is benign. This was my first time in the clinic and I can say the entire staff was extremely polite, caring, and Dr. Reinisch's demeanor was excellent. Pricing is very reasonable.
