Took our golden doodle to have a very small lesion removed from her gumline and anal glands expressed. We were going to have the lesion sent off for lab testing until they told us it would be $458 for the testing! So we canceled that request! Her gumline looks good but What the biggest disappointment was that they sent our girl home with WET POOP all over her tail and bottom and they didn’t even clean it! What the hell?! That’s like sending your kid home from the hospital with POOP on their butt!

The most compassionate care was given to my family as we said goodbye to our boy, I will forever remember the love and kindness given to us.

Staff is super nice! The facility is clean, organized and inviting. Smells fresh, even though they deal with animals. There are no are no strong smells. They have a waiting area for cats separate from the waiting area for dogs. They also have a Keurig and a yummy and unique variety of K-Cups.
But most importantly, I have to address how lovely the staff was again. From the staff at the front desk all the way to the veterinarian and everyone in between, they made the visit a joy. When my pup started feeling nervous, the nurse easily put him at ease. They moved swiftly, they were very efficient. They delivered quick results after doing a lab. And on top of all of that, the service was surprisingly affordable. Honestly, I would go back just for The vibes. But they're definitely my full-time vet 😊 thanks a bunch!

I have been using this vet clinic for over a decade. We recently had to rush my senior dog in only to find out his condition was fatal. The way this information was given to me just felt unclear. She kept saying “it’s guarded” and seemed nervous herself. I felt rushed to make a decision, and just didn’t feel like I could put my trust in this vet. I remember being told I could take him to the ER, but I’m looking at thousands of dollars. I just wanted a clear concise diagnoses/prognosis and genuine empathy. Myself and my two children were crying and scared during this experience, and I’m so thankful we ended up using Lap of Love in our home for his euthanasia. Since our appointment, I have not had anyone reach out to ask about the status or offer condolences. Meanwhile, Lap of Love has sent cards, flowers, texts, etc. After being a loyal client for many years, I simply expected a higher level of bedside manner and compassion during one of the hardest moments a pet owner can face.
In response to BLWA, it was previously under Shannon Scott, but I updated it with a receptionist recently. Maybe the vets should learn to have a more relatable conversation with grieving pet owners as opposed to using unclear medical jargon? And possibly lean more toward compassion in your responses instead of trying to save face.

They gave my dog his Three year Rabies vaccine but they would only give me a certificate for one year, they said I could get a updated certificate next year when I come back for my dog’s annual checkup, I said what if I don’t want to do a checkup every year could I just come in and get the certificate, they said no they have to see my dog, so I said I feel like I paid for a three year vaccine and they are holding my certificate hostage, they said it was the law, but if you look up TN.gov Rabies you will see the law says the certificate has to match the vaccine, it even goes on to say if you get a three year rabies vaccine and the vet will only gives you a one year, you have a case against them, I am trying to give them time to make this right before proceeding with my complaint. As of right now they just keep telling me they follow the laws that paws does, and they even shared that with me, all that said was the pet owner should receive a certificate and tag, and then they did give me a copy of the medication proving they did give my dog the three year Rabies vaccine, so they actually gave me all the proof I need to make my case, as you can see they responded by telling me to contact management, did that, before posting this
