  Today is October 13, 2026. Around lunch time I go in to get my cat some food, I stopped by the spiders that is on a folded box display, it is located in from of the registers. I am always buying spiders because I collect and breed them, I also come in for the same things... worms, flies, cat food, spiders, and bearded dragon things. Today had was the worst experience I received their. I saw the spiders and I took 2 photos of a spider to send to my girlfriend, it was a velvet spider. When I snapped the second photo a female worker comes up to me, she is in her yearly 20s, dark brown hair that is straight as a board, work black glasses, she comes up and tells me "can you put that spider down back on the shelves?" (With attitude) wth.... what if I was planning on buying it? 1- I never seen this worker b4 2- thats not how retail is supposed to be treating thier customers I been in retail for over 20 years so im very aware! 3- lets talk about how the some spiders are too big for thier enclosers?... becuase the spider i took a picture of sure was! Im very educated in the spiders. But that was not why I took the photo. 4- I wasnt even hurting the spider, as you can see in the photo of the bottom encloser... the spider was laying upside down, no harm to it 5- lets talk about how I bought 3 spiders from there B4 that was starving b4 I took them home. What i should of done was looked at that girl and told her "no, im aboht to buy it" or what i should of done... was been petty...bought, get to my car, open it up, walk back in and threw the spider on her (because as i know.... velvet spiders can get a decent size)... $40 well spent!! Disrespectful person i ever met there Since I had that experience, luckily I kept my cool and left, hope she gets recognized and something gets done. I walked out without my cat food and went to petsense near walmart, they know me quit well there too, definitely with better workers . Petco definitely lost 1 good costumer.

  If I could give a 0 I would this is not the first time that we have been there that we were treated disrespectfully no one there wants to do their job and then we addressed the issue. We were the ones that were in the wrong. We were told there were two different people working in the fish department yesterday by the road, but that lady that was checking people out more concerned about talking to other people with her dog that actually do her job was told that there was two people in the fish department and there was not. We waited for over 20 minutes. we ended up having to leave because they said lady at the front. Let some man cut my husband off in line to talk to him about his dog instead of trying to get us help so we leave and then one of the people that was supposed to be back there with the phone and a good job and actually like doing our jobs we will never come back to this one in Lebanon again in the first time we had a product that said it was for fish and then we got it to the register. The lady told us that we could not use that for fish, but it had fish on it for a fish tank so how does that work?

  The staff is professional and courteous. I've shopped at this store for awhile and have never had a bad experience.
