This place is the absolute worst. We boarded our cat with them for 25 days. A family emergency occurring on a Saturday night necessitated my Wife and I to head out of state on a Sunday morning. Our local establishments were totally booked. Park your Pets was the only option left to us. We left plenty of food. Wet food, dry food and Cat Treats, plenty of eye drops, w/instructions for the eye drops and the amounts of food for daily feedings. When we dropped our cat off on a Sunday we were met by staff, they showed us the room where the cats are boarded. While messy and smelly we believed it being the end of the week it would be attended to. Our mistake! When I picked up our cat, named Big Guy, the attendant brought him out to the lobby in his cage. I didn't attempt to take him out of the cage as I didn't want to chance losing our cat in a strange town 100 miles from where we live. When we arrived home I took him inside and let him out of the cage. His left eye was full of goop and he has lost several pounds. When I looked through the cats bag after arriving home I noticed most of the eye drops remained. Only a few had been used over the 25 day period he boarded with them. Never again will this dump be considered.

This place seems a little scattered and unprofessional. At checkout they gave me two leashes that did not belong to me, they did not follow the instructions I gave for my animals, they did not use the bedding items we gave them for our dogs so we dont know what they slept on, as well as they use an air horn on the animals there.

Our chocolate lab Goldie absolutely loves Park your paws! Since her first visit she just walks in like she owns the place! They take excellent care of her while she is there! They are always so helpful and accommodating Goldie’s needs! It’s the only boarding that we use!

DO NOT take your felines to this place for grooming if you care about them! This place was recommended to us by a vet in Johnson City. We took our Persian and Himalayn cats to be groomed and ask them to give the Persian cat a lioness cut for the Sumner. We provided a picture of a lioness cut so there would be no confusion. When we picked them up, the Persian cat had been shaved down to her bare skin all over her body (legs, head body) even her wiskers!!! Whoever heard of shaving off their wiskers. This poor cat is disoriented, looks worst than a POW, is afraid of everything and stays balled up on a heated blanket all the time!!! The Himalayan came back just the way he went, no bath! The owner told us the groomers are now enrolled in a training class and will get better (I thought you had to be trained before you started work; not after you butcher someone's pet)! The owner did refund our money but that doesn't change the emotional distress this poor cat is going through!
