  Ordered online and picked up item today. More than 2 people in line so another register opened. No trouble and no drama to find my order. Happened to observe an employee telling another customer that their store couldn't help with something they needed. Normally these days that's where it would end. But.... Said employee was set on helping as much as possible and informed the customer that a competitor store would be able to help. You may say that customer will just go to the other store going forward but I would disagree. I know I'll be back at Petco if anything to support people like this. Well done

  Ordered hornworms on DoorDash paid full price received liquified old marked down hornworms DoorDash refunded me but I called to speak to the manager to alert them that they may need to pull them off the shelves her response was “thanks for letting me know” no apology or anything. I asked if she believed I should receive an apology and the long pause before the fake apology reminds me why I choose petsmart over them ANY DAY

  I visited this location and asked for assistance finding the Health Extension dog food. From the beginning, I felt that the employees were dismissive and unprofessional. I was immediately told that the store did not carry the product. When I explained that the item was listed online as available for pickup at that location, I was told that it did not matter and that the store did not and would not carry the product. After going back and forth, I pulled up a photo of the product on my phone. At that point, the employees were suddenly able to locate the exact item I had been asking for. Unfortunately, the poor experience continued at checkout. I purchased approximately eight large cans of wet dog food, and the bag was not even double-bagged despite the weight of the items. The entire interaction left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. I should not have had to argue with employees or provide photographic proof before receiving basic assistance locating a product that was in the store all along. Customer service should make shoppers feel helped and respected, not dismissed. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this location, and I also plan to cancel my membership.

  I have never ever in all my years of raising goldfish & koi from little babies to larger adults in both pond & tank environments had a staff member who was manning the register early on 09/19/26 refuse to sell me 3 49cent goldfish until yesterday. She was obsessed with the tank size not knowing I had several options available to me at home. Didn't even ask me if I had any experience with fish only the tank size. I was speechless & taken back by this. I take great care of my fish & move them to larger tanks as needed. The fact she said "I cannot sell you the fish" really set me off & this store has lost my business & my families business & I have told my friends not to use this store for their pet needs. I went to another store & purchased the three goldfish no questions asked & they are thriving & well taken care of & will be the remainder of their lives. Extremely poor service .
