  I was in Petco Cordova around 11:30am today. Your employee, Tyler was very rude and unprofessional towards the lady in front of me as well as myself. I told him I should have points on my reward card. In a smart and rude tone, he told me to wait and see if the system tells him. I feel like he should not assist customers on the register if he doesn’t want to give professional and great customer service.

  My boyfriend went into this Petco on 08/25 and the male worker checked him out for the dog food we got which is purina pro plan and when my boyfriend went to leave the worker asked if he wanted this receipt my boyfriend said he didn’t want it. The male worker then said “ I think you’re going to want your receipt” and like a normal person my boyfriend asked why he said this food has a recall on it!! He told my boyfriend this after paying for it. My boyfriend brought the food home and it was FULL of maggots this was later at night so Petco was closed I went up there after I got off the next day they made me bring the food up there I got a refund but this is the second time I have found maggots in my dogs food from Petco! They would not comp me a new container just told me wash it maybe if they didn’t sell products that were contaminated I wouldn’t need a new container!!! The employees are usually nice but this is unacceptable never shopping there again!

  Literally so horrible. The employees are literally no where to be found when you need them most of the time, they are nice, but idk if it's an understaffing issue or what. I've gone in for crickets for over a month and they're always out, even in the days they say they get more. I was told there was a cricket shortage so I just didn't go for awhile cause that's out of their hands. I went in today, finally they had two bins full of them! No one was in the area to help so I went to the front, she said they didn't have any that could be bagged and I could only get them if they were pre-packed. Literally makes no sense at all but I wasn't even gonna try to say anything because everytime Ive tried to come get them. I wish this wasn't the literal ONLY place near my work/home, the one by my house didn't renew their lease and shut down, so the actual only option. The fish here are also always dead or dying. Same goes for the reptiles who get lumped together in enclosures even when they are meant to be solitary animals. Proper husbandry is never followed, not even to a minimum, so it's not even a place I want to continue to give my money to. Hopefully they can make some changes and do some proper research.
