Very friendly and seem genuinely concerned about the health and well-being of our pets. We are increasingly finding veterinarians that seem to be more focused on the money they can make and the demeanor of the office staff reflect this change. Maury Co Vet Hospital has NOT joined those ranks as far as I can tell after a few visits.

Two of my goats had problems walking and needed help. A friend told me about MCVH, and I called. When I explained the problem, Chasity put me at ease with her genuine concern She assured me they would help, and they did. When Dr. Price arrived, I was immediately impressed by his kindness and compassion. He was gentle and calm as he examined and treated the goats. No goat roping or rodeo here. He thoroughly explained his findings and treatment plan. When he left, I was confident the goats were receiving the best possible care. When I contacted the office to pay the bill, I was very pleased with the fair price. I highly recommend MCVH to anyone who wants excellent, compassionate care for their animal family members, all at a fair price.

Most ridiculous experience of my life. I received a message stating my dog was due for her annual. I call and schedule the appointment. I wait for almost an hour for her to be called. Then staff comes out and says she’s not due for 3 more months. I explained that this was not told to me while scheduling the appointment and because we were there and had waited so long we just wanted to get her taken care of because I had other concerns I wanted to have addressed. The attitude that day that I received from staff was ridiculous. They acted like I was over vaccinating my dog when I gave her the exact same things they have always recommended she get. She has a mass on her neck over her thyroid. I asked if it was concerning. I asked what needed to be done. I was told, “I don’t really know what that is.” Then I was told she had a more concerning mass on her mammary gland and to just feel it once a week and let the vet know what I think. I paid over $500 for that visit to be told “I don’t know.” I also explained during this visit that I would be purchasing her Simparica Trio online as it was significantly cheaper than what their office was trying to charge. They told me that was not a problem. Then, when the pharmacy contacted the vet to get the order, they refused to fax it. They told me I was required to come into the building to pick up the prescription, and that I would have to mail it in myself. I explained I would be coming to get it. Once I came in they told me I had to pay $18.00 for the prescription. For a piece of paper. I explained how ridiculous this is. No one told me there would be a fee. I paid over $500 for her visit. The lady shrugged and said “You have to pay because we offer it here.” I paid the after voicing my frustration and she rudely muttered, “It’s time go.” Would not recommend this place to ANYONE!!!!

They are amazing. We breed South African Boerboels. They truly care about our dogs when we bring them in. We had an issue with our female being ready for surgical AI on a Saturday, the Doctors came in on a Saturday changing their plans to do the procedure for us. We feel truly blessed for what they do for our dogs.
