  Absolutely love Abbie is the doggie salon! Wonderful person! The pour your own litter is a plus too.

  If I could leave 0 stars, I would!!! I have gone to another Petco for grooming services since I’ve had my toy poodle (9 lbs), and I have never been as disappointed as I am right now!! They had my dog from 11:25 until after 5, and it looks so bad you would think I did the grooming myself—someone who has never done it before! There was nothing professionally done, and I was charged 3x for a detangling fee only for them to shave my dog bald!!! If they had to shave him bald, why would you charge me for detangling? I was scammed for sure!!! I want a refund. My dog looks terrible, and I feel like Katrina did it on purpose because I asked to speak to a manager. If you are looking for professionalism, don’t let Katrina touch your dog.

  Petco is honestly a great store for pet owners. They have pretty much everything you could possibly need for your pet, which I love because it makes shopping so much easier. The staff is friendly, helpful, and especially useful if you are a new pet owner and need guidance choosing products, food, toys, or supplies. The only thing I did not like was the grooming pricing experience. The grooming itself was wonderful and they did a great job with my dog, no complaints there at all. However, I usually take my dog to another grooming company that charges me a flat $70 every time, so I decided to try Petco since the appointment showed around $67 when booking. Once I arrived, extra charges were added for things like double coat services and other add-ons, and with taxes I ended up paying almost $120. I completely respect that every business can charge whatever they want, but if the final price is going to jump from $67 to $117, I think the total should be made clear when booking the appointment so customers can decide beforehand. I will probably stick with my usual grooming company because I know the price will stay at $70 with no surprises.
