“Wow! That’s a well-trained dog,” says it all.
I can’t say enough great things about the program our 7 month old Maple went through. The simple commands taught by Eric and team are great, but the part that impresses me the most is how well thought-out the program is. If you read to materials, watch the videos, and listen to Eric, you will see everything they do has a purpose and intention that is backed by sound logic and years of training experience.
Maple left her 3 week boarding about 2 weeks ago.
She's doing a great job around the house and I can very easily teach her new things. But the basics also matter.
Today, I saw two old ladies struggling to get their trash out to the road while walking Maple and didn't want her to bug the ladies if I helped. Told her “down” about 30 feet away on a sidewalk (beside the road no less), went and helped, talked for a minute, and then walked back to her waiting patiently on me. Her being capable to do that and me being confident that she could allowed me to help these struggling ladies!
I don’t think the ladies even noticed Maple until I walked back to her. One of the ladies left with a parting gift to Eric and team…
“Wow! That’s a well-trained dog.”

We were hesitant to send our puppy, Maverick, away for training. It turned out to be a great decision. Maverick is now a great loose leash walker, has good door manners and is a good listener! And he is still has all of his great puppy energy! We are extremely happy with the work Eric did with Maverick and with us on "livabilty skills". We would highly recommend using DPTC.

We have two sibling pups adopted from the Humane Society (Trasky and Madden). After several months, they became extremely aggressive towards each. We didn't think we would be able to keep them both. Not many people wanted to take them on. It made our home super stressful.
They spent three weeks here and it changed our lives! We have two amazing dogs that love each other, being able to walk them on a buzzer without a leash, sitting and placing when told, waiting to be asked before entering a room or house. They still annoy each other once in a while, but they are inseparable and love each other so much. I can't believe these are our dogs. We as a family took a session once the three weeks were up and continued with the skills/lessons we learned there at home. The dogs are still doing AMAZING a year later. Dog Psychology and Training Center was such a blessing to our family.

I was hesitant to send my dog away for training and justifying the cost-however my experience with Dog Psychology and training center has been fantastic. Prior to training my dog was unable to walk on a leash without pulling and lunging at people on the sidewalk. Now he is focused on me and my direction I provide to him based on what he learned. This is such a change and improvement, I’m so grateful to have this training and be able to take my dog places and know he will behave in social settings!

We are so grateful for the Dog Psychology and Training Center! Our 14 week old Australian Shepherd Dodger was beginning to herd our 2 kids and turn our house upside down. There were a few times my wife and mother and law just couldn't handle him and we were seriously considering finding him a new home. That is when I called the Niermans and they gave us the guidance we needed. They explained everything in detail and sent us multiple video emails on what they did and how to integrate it with our family. After 2 weeks of training with Niermans and their wonderful trainer Veronica, Dodger has completely settled down and is obedient. The best part is that it was so easy! We just dropped him off for 2 weeks and went through a 3 hour training session ourselves to learn the simple system. We are really looking forward to our follow up and the monthly dog socials to build on the tools we've learned. He is completely relaxed and seems to be so much happier. He now understands his position in the pack and just wants to please us! WE ARE BLESSED WITH SUCH A SMART AND SWEET PUP NOW! They have empowered us with the proper skills to communicate with our dog. If you need help with with a disobedient dog or just want to get the most of your pet, Dog Psychology and Training Center is the place for you! Thank you!!!!!!!
