  Today I woke up super excited it was the day I finally could get my dog groom after being out of work for a year. In the past I’ve been here numerous of times and Jessica was my dog go to person ( She’s amazing)! But today I slowly walk into the place out of shame due to my dog be extremely matted, I walked into 3 mins late with one of the groomers he smiled at me and I was thinking he’s happy to be coming into work, as I’m waiting he goes in talks to another groomer and I see them looking at my dog only ( I became nervous and a bit embarrassed due to me not being able to get him groomed during my time out of work), then they both walked behind eve frosted glass they all was talking the took back several dogs but not mine, I then received an email saying sorry you missed your appt and I’m thinking how because I’m here waiting, then the young black girl comes out and says, you got here and I cut her off with a smirk saying yep the same time the person who works here got her 9:48 ( my appt was 9:45) plus when I got there it was a small line of others checking their dogs in. She walks from behind the desk and said well I can’t cut your dig today because he’s matted ( I’m shocked and confused because I’ve brought him there before matted just not that bad on his legs ( that’s the problem area). But when I asked why she because he’s matted like twice with and attitude so I’m still standing there like explain to me what’s wrong, she wanted me to just say ok and leave I didn’t, so she says you wanted to speak To a manager I said yes, Amber comes out and says we can’t groom him today and used a word I’m not familiar with and I asked what does that mean she explain that he’s really matted and it could hurt his skin xyz blah blah and then I LEARNED, that corp doesn’t want to take any chances hurting the dog mind u this is the FIRST time this has be like this so I didn’t know. I cried because I FINALLY got myself back To a place where I can now afford to take care of my dog and was told they couldn’t do it meanwhile this same young girl keeps walking out ACTING like she’s doing something just to listen to the conversation I explain to Amber I work in retail as a mgr and the way I was talked to today was not cool at all, if it were one of my employees to be honest she would I’d be written up on the spot, it doesn’t take but a few minority and explain to some customers what’s going on and why things can’t be done, it also she doesn’t know everyone story and things they may have been dealing with in life. I didn’t come that day with an attitude anything, I felt disappointed and not respected. Amber gave me few pointers and some suggestions and I also left with a few treats for my dog. I sat in my car and remembered I had a person I knew that groomed dogs in Mt Pleasant, I walked in told them my story of what happen here, and she told me leave my dog she’ll take care of him. I’m one happy momma that Pleasant Paws took care of home. But I won’t return for any grooming services just food and other things. My 1 star is because of the young black girl with the sassy mouth. I hope she gets her attitude together!!!
