We have been taking our fur babies here for 20+ years. From our hairless wonder, to a shitzu and now a Great Pyr. The staff have always done a great job pampering our 4 legged children.

My little Myster is a handful when it comes to grooming. I took him to “Smart Pet” and they traumatized him so much that I have to give him medication to keep him calm. Here they have been wonderful with taking care of him. I admit there have been a few times when he may have been a little unevenly cut, like I said he is a handful. They were wonderful when I went on vacation and he stayed for a week. I was able to call and check on him and was sent pictures of him enjoying himself. Love it!

Sharon, Hannah, and the team at Reidville Road Pet Salon & Boarding take great care of our Chipper. The appointment time is honored, and the requests are completed. Chipper no longer shakes for the grooming experience as he is cared for well by the Team.

Kathy groomed my schnauzer for the first time Friday and upon picking my dog up, Kathy wanted to make sure that the way she groomed my dog was what I wanted. I told her that I would like her body and face cut a little shorter and she took her right back to the table and did that for me. She was cut with a smooth cut on her body, her fur was so soft and she smelled sooo good. Also upon picking my dog up I found that she was calmer upon my arrival and our trip home. This was not the experience I have had at the previous salon I took her to for years. I went to Reidville Road Salon upon reading other people’s reviews. We will become a regular customer here going forward. Thank you Kathy for making us happy customers!!

If I could give a 0 star, I would. It’s taken me 2.5 years to write this review because I was so devastated at how they destroyed my dog’s coat. He is a double coated cocker spaniel/lab mix. I took him to get groomed May 2023. When I dropped him off, I explained I wanted a short trim (NOT SHAVED). And showed a picture of what he usually gets done. When I picked him up 8 hours later, he was shaved to the skin. 1) double coats should NOT be shaved 2) no dog should be shaved unless explicitly stated they want to be shaved. When I called them about this (because I was so distraught when I picked him up I couldn’t even form a sentence) they told me “when people ask for it short they usually mean shaved”. WHAT?! Don’t you think you might want to clarify that BEFORE you shave someone’s dog. In no world would I EVER want my dog shaved. I have told countless people to stay away from this grooming service. And I will continue to do so. I have attached pictures of before the grooming and after. My dog has just now grown all of his fur back, over 2.5 years later. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GROOMER UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR DOG’S FUR DESTROYED
