  The vet, tall skinny guy with skinny scrubs, wasn’t very kinda. He was very judgmental about the care of our pet. I brought my dog to get his shots not for him to judge me about it. Hope never see him again.

  I want to start off by saying we absolutely love Petco. We have 3 tanks in our studio and we always find great things for our tanks there and the shrimp and snail varieties. We always spend quite a bit of money there and have always been excited to go there. I also want to say that we have an autistic 4 yr daughter who loves to just go there and see the birds and fish. Her special interest is fish, why we started this hobby in the first place. There are times that some of the workers are not always the friendliest. Especially one particular worker, Neil. That last 2 times we have gone there Neil has checked us out. The first time it took him forever to just put my phone number in the system but I was happy with putting it in myself. And it took quite awhile to get everything checked out, then of course he rang something up but didn’t put the sale price on it so had to get that fixed and get a refund. I wasn’t even really bothered about that but then we went in yesterday and good ole Neil was checking us out again. This time i knew to immediately put my phone number in myself. But the whole entire time he was on his cell phone typing something like he was texting. I kept having to interrupt him on his phone so i could pay, get my receipt, etc. And on top of that we bought shrimp and snails that were in water bags, that he literally just threw into a bag. He wasn’t gentle at all. Like these are our pets that we love, so it was a little shocking. We also realized when we got home that we were way over charged for the shrimp that we got. They charged me $40 for 4 shrimp! Then the lady who helped us get the shrimp and snail out just seemed incredibly busy. Too busy to even bother trying to find something I was wanting to buy. I also want to add that we were the ONLY customers in the whole store, but everyone was too busy stocking to even care that we were there. She even showed us the boxes that the small product I wanted could be in there, but made it very clear she wasn’t going to look or help. My husband tried looking for me, but again we had our autistic 4 yr old who elopes so it’s incredibly hard to do anything except keep your eyes on her when we’re out in public. So it just seems like a fun family outing is always ending in disappointment when we go there. Which is sad because our sweet little girl always loves going there! 😭

  First time at Petco since recently moving to SC from FL. Dawn and her grooming team were wonderful with my two chihuahuas. Communication and service was GREAT!!!

  Drove almost an hour to this location because they had a specific product that i needed and every store near me was out of stock. I pick up my order, drive home only to realize the main thing i ordered wasn’t in the bag. I called the store and all i get is “oh yeah i realized about an hour after you left the store that it wasn’t in the bag” and a refund for said product. They wouldn’t be able to have it shipped to me she can “order another one after i refund this one but it’ll take a few days to get to you.” I should’ve just ordered everything online from the start and save myself the inconvenience.
