- DDDominique DavisJun 21, 20221.0I first want to say that my dog had a grooming appointment today and I acknowledge it was scheduled for 2:45pm. However, I got caught by the train and once I realized it wasn’t going to be finished any time soon. I turned around and proceeded to call Petco and let them know that I would be late because I was coming from South Florence and had to turn all the way around and go around town just to ho around the train and get to Petco. The female I spoke with on the phone said, okay you need to be here by 3pm. I let her know I was on my way and it would be a few minutes after 3, because I had to take an alternate route. She said okay. Once I arrived with my dog, I was told by another associate at the grooming station that since I wasn’t here by 3 that they weren’t grooming my dog. Now my problem here is that almost every single time I bring my dog to get groomed, it doesn’t matter if her appointment is early or later, she’s always there until almost closing for the grooming. They always call me later in the evening to say she is ready and I’m a loyal customer almost past 2 years. I have never complained about it even though I never understood why it was taking so long. So, the one time that I have an issue that is out of my control and still made an attempt to have my dog there for grooming. You tell me one thing and then do another. I know one thing they lost a good customer and my dog won’t be back and I will be letting others know not to return if they are going to treat customers like we are a nuisance when we are the ones keeping them employed.
