  I just got back from the Garden City location. Service wasnt terrible it was nonexistent. I waited over 15 min in the fish section and could not find a single employee. I decided to go over to the register and ask for help. I was clearly interrupting her txt conversation but was told somebody would be sent right over. 17 minutes later nobody had arrived. I grabbed 1 of the items I needed ( not fish) and went to the register. Just to wait another couple of minutes to have somebody arrive. She asked me if I still needed fish and quite honesty I just bit my tongue and said I was all.set. I was planning on buying over $50 worth of fish but couldn't even get an employee to help. Ive had bad service before but Garden City Petco.. gets zero stars if I could. Ill spend more at a local petstore but at least there will be an employee on the floor and one at a register

  Bought my turtle there and my baby bearded dragon. Decent selection of fish too. Hard to find employees though.

  Mixed experiences here… The Cranston Petco in general is a fine place to shop for my pet, large inventory, etc. I have taken my puppy for classes and Nick the trainer is excellent. The grooming services? I tried it once and will not return. I dropped my dog off with her own unscented products and asked that NO fragrances be used on her due to allergies. She came home smelling very perfumey. When I called the next day to mention this, the employee gave me attitude and insisted she was not sprayed with anything. Also, when I was picking my dog up, the woman at the desk was not professional, she was gossiping with someone (not sure whether employee or customer) and it was not appropriate when you have customers there. They also charge a materials fee, and an extra service was added in that I hadn’t requested (nail filing.) I thought it must’ve been included with the bath since that’s what I requested online, but mentioned this when I saw the bill. The woman did remove the charge for me (but clearly was not happy about it) and told me I technically should be paying for it because the service was completed. Overall grooming experience was very poor.

  It's just around the corner where I live! The staff is always cheerful and helpful. Such a pleasure....and you are well stocked!
