  Dr. Patala is in the wrong profession. I have previously brought my cat in for skin condition and Dr Betty was helpful in helping me treat her back in June. Unfortunately the skin condition had flared up and I was hoping to come back and take next steps with Dr Betty; however, I had to see this guy instead. I could not believe he was an actual veterinarian to be honest. His apathy is palatable. The entire visit he acted like a fifth grader who did not study for the exam and it's just making it up as it goes along. While looking her over, he asked me if the cat had fleas. I said you're examining her can you look and he just put her down and stepped away. I mean I did not go to veterinary school but wouldn't as a veterinarian you be able to tell if a pet had fleas? I don't think she did but maybe he'd be the expert because I'm paying him to be the expert. He did not read the notes or the clinical reports that were right there on the computer. The assistant and I had to redirect him to the notes and blood work results from June multiple times. She even had to show him how to use the mouse pad. This man is inept in every way. He told me straight to my face I have no idea what's wrong with her. I said she has a diagnosis!! what are the next steps?? He waved me off saying "I don't know what do you want me to do?" I understand being a veterinarian because you're not a people person but at least know what you're talking about. I'm not an expert but I knew damn more than he did. Multiple times he asked me what I thought was wrong with her . Maybe he should pay me $85 for the visit. He couldn't get out of the room fast enough and the cat was on the floor and he walked away leaving the door open where she could have escaped into the entire store or even- God forbid -the parking lot. If I own a Veterinary Clinic I would absolutely terminate this guy immediately. The way that he left the door open and callously and walked away he's 100% a liability.... and a jerk.

  I would give 0 stars but it wont allow me. Waited over an hour for the doc to basically say my dog had an upset stomach. I had to take him to the ER the next day and over $1400 later showing he was in liver distress. I have NEVER been seen at my given appointment time. Beyond angry and devastated that I couldn’t trust a doctor and had to go with my gut instead. My poor dog suffered another day but he is thankfully I kept him alive.

  Had a previously good experience, although this time I felt as though the Vet provided unsolicited advice and stepped out of her bounds of ethics when it came to being a veterinarian. She also continuously called my dog a female after being corrected many times that he is a male and after examining him and speaking about his parts. She seemed as though she could care less about my pet and I and rather if she checked off boxes and got paid. She did not listen to my concerns about pricing and services offered that I declined due to not needing them at that time and she proceeded to tell me I should have a credit card for something like this to cover my pets expenses.
