Staff was very accommodating and friendly. I recommend this route over the vaccine clinics for any animal that may be unsure of new surroundings or vet visits because they take you into an exam room and make your pet feel safe. Paying the exam fee is worth it over vaccine clinics in my opinion.

Service is generally great! I appreciate that I get to hold my cat when doing the nail trimming, he tends to be more comfortable that way. I also appreciate them listening to my preference and not cutting them too short, as styles that’s uncomfortable for them. I don’t love that I have to pay for a whole wellness exam in order to get the nail trimming as an add on. Ideally, nail trimming could potentially be a stand alone service or part of the exam, as the exam is $80 + $20 for nails trimmed, I’d bring him in on a more regular basis if that was the case. Other than that, I highly respect the time and level of care provided and really appreciate the service.

My dog died, the staff were really great about it. I was a sobbing mess so I appreciate that they took their time with us.

Dr. Patala is a visiting doctor who spent less than 2 min with my dog. He didn't bother trying to take a look at her teeth (her chief complaint) and was too busy calling her chubby without offering any solution (she actually just lost 3 pounds in 3 weeks). He was condescending, had no bedside manners, was apathetic, and couldn't wait to leave while there were no other patients in the office. I cannot believe this man is a vet. He is demonstrating that he is only there to collect his paycheck and leave. Disappointed doesn't measure how I feel; disgusted is more like it. He is a disgrace to the profession and should work in a field more suited to his personality: a morgue.

If I could give 0 stars, I would in a second. I made an appointment online (same as last year, when this also happened) for my SICK cat where I described the illness & urgency for same-day visit that was AVAILABLE ON WEBSITE. I go back to work & come back to a cancelled appointment. I tried calling twice, with an HOUR IN BETWEEN. I left a voicemail the first time stating it was an emergency (crying between sentences) & please call me back. Hour later, I tried again & SAME THING! At this point, I scheduled at a CLASS "A" VET CLINIC: FORT WASHINGTON VET HOSPITAL. This is where they informed me that the best option for the sake of my 16 year old diabetic cat was to put her down. You can imagine my devastation. But it gets better, THEY NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALL for the rest of the day. Then, when they called back today, I answered the phone and said "TOO LATE. THANKS FOR NOTHING." So, if you need a vet you can actually count on, VETCO is NOT it. May the person who cancelled my appointment, the person who waited until today to return the call, & the company that thinks this is acceptable practice behavior, have the karma that is coming to them. Bless.
